Demi Lovato Can’t Hold ‘Let It Go’ Back Anymore, Releases Soundtrack Single [Audio]

Demi Lovato tweeted the release of her latest single, “Let it Go,” yesterday for all the world to enjoy (listen at the bottom). Lovato’s latest, a sountrack single, comes courtesy of the Disney movie, Frozen. As a Camp Rock alum, sadly Demi Lovato doesn’t appear in the film.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Demi is gearing up for her 2014 “Neon Lights” tour, but not before building some buzz first, it appears.

Lovato, current judge on “The X Factor,” recently revealed she does not fear getting under the skin of fellow judge and show creator Simon Cowell.

“I don’t really know for sure and I don’t really care if he does because I’m going to do it anyway and that’s what he gets for hiring a — at the time a 19-year-old — to be alongside him on the judges table,” Demi Lovato said.

Demi recently appeared at the 2013 Dignity Gala, where she performed as well; the gala was to launch and benefit the Red Light Traffic app, a smart phone crowdsourcing platform to help combat child slavery and exploitation.

“Let it Go” is full of cold beauty and detachment, with Demi Lovato singing sweetly.

“The snow blows white on the mountain tonight,” Lovato sings, “not a footprint to be seen. A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I’m the queen.”

The song closes on a variation of the chorus, with Demi Lovato singing from a place of great strength.

“And here I stand, and here I’ll stay,” Demi sings. “Let it go, let it go, the cold never bothered me anyway.”

With Demi Lovato releasing a soundtrack single at the same time as Christina Aguilera and Taylor Swift, Billboard wants to know which of the three you like best. Head on over, give ’em a listen and cast your vote for Demi Lovato!
