The New York Mets and the Milwaukee Brewers will meet on Thursday for their third game of a three-game series. The Mets were able to come away with a 4-0 win in game 1 of the series, but games 2 and 3 should be interesting.

As of June 15th, the New York Mets currently sit in first place in the National League East at 41-22. The Milwaukee Brewers have been struggling recently, only winning one out of their last 10 games, and are 34-29. Milwaukee is 2.5 games behind the first-place St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Central.

The New York Mets are going to be throwing Tylor Megill. This is great news for New York as Megill has been one of the better pitchers in baseball before he was injured. This is going to be his second start since returning from injury and the Mets should be excited about that.

Before showing signs of being injured, Megill had a 1.93 ERA. In his career against the current Milwaukee Brewers lineup, He's held hitters to a .200 batting average and has a strikeout percentage of 33.3%.

Aaron Ashby is going to be on the mound for the Milwaukee Brewers and that should also be good news for them. The left-handed pitcher has had a good start to the season. He's going to be coming into this one with a 3.91 ERA and a 3.39 FIP.

Milwaukee is one of the better teams in baseball because of its pitching staff. Their pitching has been dominant to start the season and they're hopeful that their bats are going to eventually show up too.

What's The Best Bet?

The best bet for this game is going to be taking the New York Mets to win this game outright. The Mets have been one of the best teams in baseball all season long despite many injuries that they've faced.

The Milwaukee Brewers are going to be a tough beat for New York on Wednesday because Corbin Burnes is going to get the mound, but that should make Thursday's game even better for us.

If the Mets can come out and put up a few runs on the board for us in this one, they should be able to come away with a win. Milwaukee's had one of the worst offenses to start the season and that's not going to change.
