Actress Will Play Brandi Glanville On LeAnn Rimes’ Fake Reality Show

Uh oh. An actress will be cast to portray Brandi Glanville on LeAnn Rimes’ upcoming Curb Your Enthusiasm-esque reality show, and observers are already predicting feuds, hurt feelings, and general fallout.

In case you didn’t know, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have their own reality TV show coming to VH1 in early 2014. Though pegged a reality program, it will be scripted, and will follow Rimes’ relationship with Cibrian and the aftermath of his split from Glanville. So it’s reality-esque, leading some to compare the semi-fictional tone to that of Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Glanville obviously has nothing to do with the show, and not just because of her commitment to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It has been rumored for some time that an actress will be cast to fill her role, an idea that Glanville herself actually seems amenable to.

“I’d want Denise Richards to play me. She’s been through similar situations… and she’s hot!” Glanville said earlier this year of her ex’s show.

Another bit of trivia about the show: Actors will also be cast as Rimes’ and Cibrian’s sons Mason, 10, and Jake, 6.

“LeAnn and Eddie were so against the kids being on RHOBH,” a source explained to InTouch, “that they can’t have them in this.”

And though Rimes and Glanville have engaged in many a contentious and public feud in the past, the purpose of the new show isn’t to make Glanville look bad.

“I made some really bad choices. I caused hurt,” Rimes admitted to People magazine, implying that she wants the show to reflect what really goes on instead of just her side.

“For some reason, everyone is so interested in our lives but they don’t actually know about them. What they read is what they see. We want to be able to take control of our lives again so we want to do a show about us, about our lives, but scripted.”
