An 11-year-old comedian has already started to play some of the most respected and popular comedy clubs in Manhattan despite his tender age.
Jack Fuld, who hails from Queens and lives with his parents and five-year-old brother, first went on stage at the age of 9, and he has managed to to develop a solid routine over the last two years.
He has already performed at Carolines, which is situated on Broadway, just above Times Square, where the likes of Rosie O’Donnell, Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, and Louis CK have each honed their act, whilst he has also walked on stage in the comedy clubs around Greenwich Village too.
Jack told DNA info , “I’ve always had a sense of humor,” before he then explained that he developed his taste for the stage after his parents, Robert and Xiaobo, took him and his brother on a family cruise to Mexico in 2011.
Robert Fuld added , “They had a family friendly comedy show. Jack was playing it up and I could see that he really wanted to be on stage.”
Having seen his son’s passion invigorated, Robert’s friend agreed that Jack could perform on stage at his bar, which is situated in the Lower East Side of New York.
Robert confirmed that after his debut, he managed to get a number of other gigs and he has steadily become more and more confident, despite the fact that some members of the audience groan when he comes on stage because of his age.
Jack normally performs for ten minutes and makes jokes about the fact that he is half-Jewish, half-Chinese before then performing material about being on the subway and a few random bathroom jokes.
Some of his jokes include, “That’s right, I’m half-Jewish half-Chinese… but I’m not, not cheap! I’m actually very generous, with my parents’ money.”
