Oklahoma State’s Justin Blackmon Arrested For DUI
Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested Tuesday morning in Texas for driving under the influence.
According to local reports, Blackmon and three friends were driving to Oklahoma from the New York Giants-Dallas Cowboys game in Arlington, Texas when their car was pulled over after it was clocked doing 90 mph in a 60 mph zone.
The police report states that Blackmon failed a sobriety test and subsequent testing found alcohol in his system.
Of note, Texas law states that a minor with any detectable amount of alcohol in his or her system while driving is considered driving under the influence. Justin Blackmon is currently 20 years of age.
Blackmon has 1,112 yards on 62 catches and 14 touchdowns for the Cowboys (6-1) this season. He leads the nation in receiving yards (158.6) and is second in receptions per game (8.86).
