Dwayne Johnson Shows Off Hercules’ Army On Twitter
Dwayne Johnson has dropped another image from Hercules: The Thracian Wars on Twitter.
If you want to stay up-to-date with everything that’s happening with the flick, then you should follow the busy actor as soon as possible. The guy definitely knows how to keep his fans happy.
The latest image features a look at the film’s Thracian army. The picture in question shows dozens of extras armed with spears and shields. It’s hard to get a good look at the soldiers since they’re so far away, but it’s kind of cool to see them lined up and ready for battle.
“Let it be to death or victory. THANK U my ‘Thracian soldiers’. Intensity & energy #PreBattleSpeech,” Dwayne Johnson recently tweeted to his followers
Directed by Brett Ratner, Hercules: The Thracian Wars is a much more grounded take on the classic character.
Instead of incorporating the supernatural elements found in the slightly cheesy Arnold Schwarzenegger flicks from the 80s, Ratner’s upcoming movie will approach the story from a more realistic point-of-view.
Dwayne Johnson is joined by a number of talented actors and actresses for the upcoming action flick. Included among the cast are Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Aksel Hennie, Reece Ritchie, and Tobias Santelmann.
