Casey Anthony Pregnant Rumors Fly As Spotlight Shines On Florida Justice System

Is Casey Anthony pregnant? If you hang out on Twitter, and it’s well-known that some of us do, you can’t fail to have noticed the endless tweets today that say something along the lines of, “Zimmerman is free, Cory Monteith is dead, Kyle Massey has cancer, Casey Anthony is pregnant. On a scale of 1-10 how done are you with this day?”

A variant on the rumor is something like, “Casey Anthony is pregnant with her second victim.”

But wait a minute.

Haven’t we all heard the Casey Anthony pregnancy rumors before? In fact, didn’t a ton of these rumors circulate all over the nation — and even the world — in March?

The Daily Mail, for instance, carried this story reporting a rumor that she was involved with a wealthy man who was giving her money and, perhaps, fathering the child.

If there was any truth to the rumor, it’s strange that Anthony didn’t look either particularly pregnant or particularly wealthy when she recently appeared in front of a bankruptcy judge.

I’m going to suggest that we need more than a campaign of tweets from people who are currently angry and emotional about the Florida court system before we decide that Casey Anthony is indeed pregnant.
