Could this be our 3D augmented future?
There is a lot of buzz in the tech world these days about augmented information display but there are a lot of people who either don’t understand what this idea means or they worry about the inevitable abuse of it.
Keiichi Matsuda, as a student in his last year at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London, has an on-going project where he looks at these very things. Between his blog and the videos he creates we get a sense of what this augmented reality could possibly look like.
His newest video is called Augmented City 3D and is about the synthetic spaces that are created by all the digital information that we collect and consume.
This older one is about augmented advertising gone crazy.
This one shows an augmented reality as the new drug.
