Miley Cyrus Seems To Be Taking Sides In Parents’ Divorce Battle

Miley Cyrus doesn’t appear to have any interest in remaining impartial in her parents’ divorce battle.

The 20-year-old singer is reportedly asking her mom, Tish Cyrus, to come along and work on her We Can’t Stop tour this summer. While Tish is collecting a paycheck, her dad Billy Ray Cyrus has been struggling with his own ventures. His memoir, Hillbilly Heart, has dropped to $1.99 on Amazon.com, Perez Hilton noted.

This doesn’t seem to be the first time that Miley Cyrus has sided with mom. Just a few days after Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish announced they were getting a divorce after 19 years of marriage, Miley posted to Twitter a carefree photo with her mom and younger sister Noah.

The photo shows the three of them together in a car, while the caption reads: “The baddest b****es in the world.”

While Miley has also shown her dad a bit of affection — tweeting him a Father’s Day message, for example — she has also been public in her criticism of him. Earlier this month she tweeted a cryptic but vaguely threatening message: “Since your text and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this?”

Shortly afterward Miley Cyrus went after her dad again, this hinting at a secret he was keeping. She posted a picture of herself with another women — not her mom Tish — and the message:“@billyraycyrus since you won’t reply to my texts I’m giving you an hour to tell the truth or ill tell it for you.”

Miley deleted the tweet shortly afterward.

It seems that Miley Cyrus may be taking the split harder than her parents, who have been spotted together having lunch since announcing their divorce. Or it could be the couple is repeating a bit of history — Billy Ray Cyrus actually filed for divorce once before, in 2010, but they reconciled.
