Brazil’s Mr. Balls Mascot Is Exactly What He Sounds Like [NSFW]
In Brazil, “Mr. Balls” is a shockingly graphic (but overall, pretty friendly-looking) mascot for a Brazilian nonprofit cancer association. Hilariously, Mr. Balls is a huge hit.
Gawkerspotted images of Mr. Balls in a photo gallery of a recent event attended by the Associação de Assistência às Pessoas com Câncer, the aforementioned Brazilian non-profit that helps people with cancer. Mr. Balls is, apparently, their mascot.
Though he’s pretty disgusting to behold, Mr. Balls is used to raise awareness about testicular cancer, according to the AAPC website. A quick Google translate shows that “Both children and adults loved taking pictures with the mascot , a friendly snowman in the shape of testicle.”
So, Google Translate still needs some work. I’m pretty sure Mr. Balls was never actually described anywhere as a snowman, but I don’t speak Portuguese, so I’ll never know.
We’re 100 percent behind cancer awareness and research, and having a giant ballsack as a mascot is definitely the direct approach toward that goal. But there’s just … so much wrong with this guy, isn’t there?
I mean, they texturized him. You see the “skin,” right? How it’s a splotchy like burn victim skin? In an outdoors picture (below) you can see that the splotchy-ness is actually shadow.
And the little curly hairs all over? Not to mention the dead eyes and frozen rictus grin. On top of it all a strange, public Jheri curl.
Mr. Balls looks like The Grimace gone wrong. Or the Grimace’s weird cousin. Or the Grimace in Witness Protection. And now you’ll never be able to look at the Grimace with a straight face ever again.
Here are some pictures of Brazil’s Mr. Balls, via the AAPC. Let us know what you think, and of course, these are NSFW:
