Beyonce Embarrasses Princess Eugenie At Recent Show [Video]
Beyonce embarrassed Princess Eugenie at a recent gig in London.
While performing the tune “Irreplaceable” during the The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour earlier this week, the singer decided to walk around the stage and interact with the audience.
Beyonce was getting members of the audience to sing “to the left, to the left” at various points during the song. However, her decision to stick the microphone in front of Princess Eugenie of Britain ultimately backfired.
The princess didn’t say anything when it was her turn to take the mic. The unexpected event left her feeling embarrassed and “bright red.” According to various sources, Eugenie has been picked on relentlessly since the incident occurred.
“It was hilarious — Eugenie was on the front row with Kate Middleton’s brother, James, and his new girlfriend, Donna Air, plus designers Matthew Williamson and Patrick Cox,” a source explained to the Mirror.
The insider added, “All Eugenie’s friends were teasing her about her stage fright for hours afterwards.”
When Beyonce approached Princess Eugenie to belt out part of the song, she reportedly ran away and dropped to the ground. Apparently she wasn’t quite ready to share the limelight with the acclaimed singer.
“When Eugenie, who had gone bright-red, ducked down, Beyonce was forced to quickly fill in the missing words and find a new, willing victim,” the anonymous source explained.
It’s believed that Beyonce simply didn’t recognize Princess Eugenie in the audience when she was getting folks to sing along. Although some websites are reporting that the singer was being disrespectful, chances are she simply didn’t realize who she had approached.
Despite this slight hiccup in her performance, Beyonce’s first night in London was considered to be resounding success. She received numerous positive reviews from critics for her performance.
