Lauren Conrad Spends Millions On New California Home
Lauren Conrad recently dropped quite a bit of money on her new California home.
The former star of MTV’s The Hills paid a whopping $3.7 million for her spacious digs in Los Angeles. The 4,300 square foot Brentwood abode sports five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
Lauren Conrad’s new two-story home also features a remodeled kitchen, a basketball court, and a sizable backyard. The interior was designed by Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis. In other words, it’s money well spent.
The reality TV veteran’s purchase puts her in the middle of a celebrity-infested neighborhood. Lauren Conrad will share a street with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts, and Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady.
The house will also provide shelter for Conrad’s latest addition: a rescue pooch named Chloe. The Hills stars took the dog home last October after falling in love with her at a local shelter.
Lauren Conrad purchased her new home in Los Angeles after a quick trip to India. During her stay in the country, she ended up with a head of pink hair after participating in the annual Holi festival.
The event, which celebrates the arrival of spring, involves people throwing brightly-colored paint at one another. Unfortunately for Conrad, she ended up with quite a bit of paint in her hair. She quickly discovered that it doesn’t wash out so easily.
“Looks like I’m sporting pink locks for the rest of this trip,” Lauren wrote on Instagram. She included pictures of her unexpected dye job.
Lauren Conrad will stay busy well into the summer thanks to the final installment of her Fame Game book series. The author will kick off a book tour on June 11th, which is the same day that the novel will hit bookstores across the country.
