Snoop Dogg: Miley Cyrus Is One Of The Greats

Snoop Dogg is a Miley Cyrus fan and a big one. As all the world knows by now, the 20-year-old pop singer recently performed a duet with the iconic rapper on the recently released, “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks.”

And Snoop Dogg — now in the process of trying to get people to call him the slightly more dignified Snoop Lion — has nothing but praise for the energetic young “twerker.”

At the recent 2013 MTV Movie Awards, Snoop Dogg rated Miley Cyrus as one of the “greatest musicians and personalities of all time.”

He also spoke out about the similarities in their experiences, even though the teen pop star just turned 20 in November, while at age 41 he has over two decades of experience as a rapper, singer/songwriter, and producer.

“We’re both going through transformation, we both love making music and doing what we do and speaking from our hearts, and it’s just a great collaboration,” Snoop Dogg or — if you must, Snoop Lion — told MTV. As part of his spiritual transformational, Snoop Dogg has said that he was renamed Snoop Lion by a reggae priest. And if not, why not?

It’s a hectic time for both performers. On Tuesday, Miley Cyrus and iamwill released their new collaboration, “Fall Down.” Snoop Lion is promoting his reggae movie, Reincarnated, which opened in March, and the Reincarnated album, which is coming out on Apr. 23.

But the rapper still had time to pile on the praise. Using words like “bold,” “courageous,” and “love,” as well as “the greatest,” Snoop Dogg’s Miley Cyrus comments were almost gushing.
