Taylor Swift Sex Tape? Facebook Scam Starts Circulating Around Internet
Do you want to see Taylor Swift’s sex tape? If you see those words floating around your Facebook page today you can bet that it’s a scam.
According to All Facebook, several users have reported seeing a link promising to show fans a video of Taylor Swift naked.
The message reads:
“The famous singer Taylor Swift had her iPhone hacked Monday and a sex tape between her and former boyfriend Harry Styles has been leaked on the Internet … Taylor’s publicists are trying to take down all of the websites hosting it, but we found a working one! Watch the video before it’s taken down!”
Of course, clinking on the link doesn’t bring you to any adult images of the famous star. Instead, you’ll be brought to a page that makes a few more hollow promises in exchange for personal information like your email address or your phone number.
Hoax Slayer writes:
“The message is a scam designed to trick users into participating in bogus online surveys that ask for their personal information. No matter how many surveys they fill out, participants will never get to see the promised sex tape.”
