T-Mobile Launches ‘Heart Month’ Fundraiser For February
February isn’t just about Valentine’s Day, it is also Heart Month and the team at T-Mobile will support that initiative by supporting The Hope Heart Institute. The not-for-profit’s goal is to help raise awareness about the number one risk to men and women in American — heart disease.
According to The Hope Heart Institute heart disease causes one death every 37 seconds.
T-Mobile will offer its “red hot” accessories for its fundraising efforts. Accessories included in the month long effort include ear buds, chargers, phone skins and more.
Donations will be made for items purchased both in-store and through the T-Mobile online web store.
Money earned from the fundraising event will be used for research and education programs.
The Hope Heart Institute plans to use funds raised to help with cutting-edge science, clinical trials and heart disease prevention outreach. The group is urging anyone looking for more information to visit Hopeheart.org.
T-Mobile plans to donate $1 per item up to $50,000.
