However, Sony’s E3 2017 has already ended with no announcement or updates on The Last of Us: Part II. According to Comic Book, the game’s writer, Neil Druckmann, explained to fans via a post on Twitter that they are excited to give fans updates to TLOU 2.
The Last of Us 2 will reveal what happened to Joel and Ellie following the events that took place in the first game. This is Naughty Dog’s next game just weeks following the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Given that the game developer has already finished working on two Uncharted games, many fans believe that it would be proper for Naughty Dog to work on The Last of Us 2 this time.
Should Naughty Dog begin working on The Last of Us 2, it is believed that more details to the sequel will be released this December. After all, the game developer released The Last of Us: Part II trailer during 2016 PlayStation Experience and Druckmann promised that more updates to the game would be released “in the coming months.”
