Acer Aspire 5738PG Likes To Be Touched In All The Right Spots
Acer is attempting to add a little bit of extra zing to the October 22nd release date for Windows 7 by throwing in a touchscreen on their Acer Aspire 5738PG laptop that not coincidentally is due out that same day.
The touchscreen based laptop features finger pinching, double touching and flicking technologies, while also offering a multi-gesture touchpad and a number keyboard.
The laptop also houses an impressive Intel Core 2 Duo processor with an ATI Radeo HD 4570 GPU and 15.6 inch LED screen with 1366 x 768 pixels of resolution. The unit is also shipping with 4GB RAM, 320GB hard drive and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N support.
Users will also receive HDMI out abilities and USB 2.0.
With a starting price of $799.99 it’s also a relatively cheap offering given the technologies it employs.
