Kill Me Now: Lucas Cruikshank to star in Fred Movie, Sadly Not Dead
Lucas Cruikshank is said to be staring in a movie version based on his god-awful annoying YouTube character Fred Figglehorn.
For those who have managed to avoid Fred so far, you can check out his work in this post, including my argument as to why censorship has a place on YouTube. The short version: Lucas Cruikshank is a kid who appears to be on speed and talks at a million miles an hour in a high pitched voice.
According to a report in September, a casting call for the Fred movie has been made for the supporting roles of Bertha, Judy and Kevin. Casting director Sheryl Levine has worked for Nickeloden, and director Clay Weiner has a popular YouTube channel himself.
In related Lucas Cruikshank news, the actor is this weekends first fake celebrity rumor to be doing the rounds. Details are sketchy, but there are a number of people on Twitter claiming Fred is Dead. Sadly the Fred is Dead rumor is about 99% unlikely, as there is nothing solid backing the rumor up. Instead, it’s probably just a case of wishful thinking ?
