Recently married couple Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell were robbed over the weekend while the two were attempting to enjoy their honeymoon together.
Just days after the couple exchanged vows in California, the actors took to Twitter to share some unhappy news related to their honeymoon. On November 4, Wood tweeted “Dude! Jamie and I just got robbed,” continuing, “Found our hotel room ransacked. We are safe and have everything we need, so all is well. Damn.”
The 25-year-old Wood and 26-year-old Bell have no provided any additional news regarding the robbery, and Wood’s tweet is all we have to go on at this point, reports Yahoo .
Wood seemed in better spirits earlier in the day, reports MSN . The Mildred Pierce actress tweeted ”Horseback riding with husband. Check! (sic)” prior to the robbery tweet.
Bell himself tweeted his followers asking them what they thought of Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph , which debuted at no. 1 this weekend. “What’s the word on Wreck-It Ralph?” the Man on a Ledge star asked his Twitter followers. “Me and the Mrs. are curious.”
The couple started dating in 2005 after meeting on the set of Green Day’s video “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” They tied the knot quietly on October 30 after several years of on-again off-again dating. ”Words cannot describe the happiness i am feeling. Overwhelming,” tweeted Wood after her ceremony. ”Thanks for all the congratulations! Many thanks to you wonderful people. ? (sic)”
”Thank you for all the congratulations. I’m a very lucky man,” tweeted Bell.
