Music Teacher Jailed for Lesbian Affair with Student – Fuzzy Handcuffs Involved
A 26 year old music teacher at a posh all girls school in the U.K. recieved a 15 month jail sentence for having a 5 month long lesbian affair with her 15 year old student.
Helen Goddard was sentenced today in Southwark Crown Court. She admitted to having at least 6 lesbian encounters with the 15 year old girl from February to July 2009.
Goddard claimed during her trial that the girl “pressurised” her into the relationship that started out innocently enough over meetings for coffee and went on from there. From ThisIsLondon.co.uk:
Their illict meetings remained a secret until the £13,000-a-year top London public school for girls, which cannot be named for legal reasons, received an anonymous tip-off and care workers immediately contacted the police.
When officers raided the teacher’s housing estate maisonette in Greenwich they found the teenager with the 26-year-old and seized various sex toys including vibrators and “fluffy handcuffs”.
Apparently the two were “pressurised” enough to plan on and attend a gay pride parade on a week long trip to Paris. The girl also lied to her parents when going to visit Goddard; telling them she was spending time at her friends places.
Goddard has been fired from her job, ordered to register as a sex offender for 10 years and is prohibited for life from working at a job involving children.
