Duggar Fans Suspect Jill Dillard Is Pregnant With Baby No. 2, Derick Dillard Postpones Adoption Plans
Duggar fans are wondering once again if Jill Dillard is pregnant with her second child with husband Derick Dillard. Eagle-eyed Counting On fans pointed out that Jill “looked different” in a recent photo she posted on Instagram. This, however, is not the first time that Jill was spotted with what looks like a baby bump.
Over the weekend, Jill Duggar Dillard posted a photo with Israel, Derick, Dan, and Deena Dillard with the caption, “Thank you for the wonderful Christmas celebration yesterday!”
The couples, along with baby Israel, were all smiles posing in front of the fireplace. A few commented that there was “something different” about Jill, with some even speculating that the Counting On star is probably pregnant with her second child.
“She certainly looks it! Very early though… Probably why she hasn’t said anything!” a fan wrote.
This is not the first time that Jill’s photo sparked pregnancy rumors. In November, the reality star shared a photo of her wearing what seemed to be a loose top during Thanksgiving. According to Hollywood Take, several fans immediately speculated that there might be a new addition to the Duggar family soon.
“Jill Duggar looks pregnant. Seems every pic I see she’s larger than the previous one,” a fan previously commented
Some Counting On fans even predicted that Jill would be making the announcement in Season 3. With Jinger’s wedding and Jessa’s pregnancy, a few speculated that Jill did not want to steal her sisters’ thunder.
On the other hand, some held that Jill already had “wide hips” even before she got pregnant. They also pointed out that she might not have lost all the baby weight just yet. Given that Jill had to undergo a C-section, it was not easy shedding those unwanted pounds.
In another episode of Counting On Season 2, Anna Duggar, Josh’s wife, predicted that it was only a matter of time before Jill and Derek announce that they will also be having another baby. She joked that by that time, she might have problems memorizing all the names of her nephews and nieces.
“With Jess and Ben expecting, and Jill and Derick probably gonna be expecting soon, and then Jinger and Jeremy getting married, it won’t be long before we’ll be like, ‘Wait a minute. I know you’re my nephew but what’s your name?'” she said.
Back in Season 2, Derick told Jill that he wanted to try for baby no. 2 before 2016 ends. Although they have talked about adopting, Derick insisted that their next child should be biological.
Early this month, the Stir predicted that Jill and Derick Dillard may be done with missionary work for good. The Counting On couple returned from their mission trip in Central America just in time for Jinger Duggar’s wedding a couple of months ago. Even though the couple said that they are only taking a “temporary break” from mission work, the site held that fans are starting to wonder if Jill and Derick will ever return to El Salvador.
Jill pregnant with baby no. 2 could allegedly be one of the reasons why the couple is taking an extended vacation from their mission trip.
“Jill could be pregnant. The developing country is a hotbed for the Zika virus, and if she’s expecting baby number two, her priority should be keeping that little one safe. Baby rumors have been surrounding Jill basically ever since Israel was born nearly two years ago, so this one wouldn’t surprise us at all.”
