Tarek and Christina El Moussa’s alleged relationship-ending fight in May was reportedly witnessed by the man she is believed to be dating currently.

According to a new report regarding the Flip or Flop couple’s split, Gary Anderson, Christina El Moussa’s rumored boyfriend, was allegedly present when her husband, Tarek, fled their Southern California home in May with a gun.

On December 15, TMZ claimed Christina El Moussa had a shoulder to cry on during the alleged incident and that the rumored shoulder belonged to Anderson, who ended up dating the television star a while after their reported fight.

“The guy is Gary Anderson… who was on scene back in May when 11 deputies responded to ‘a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun,'” the outlet revealed to readers, claiming Anderson was the witness who claimed to have seen Tarek run out of his marital home back in May.

“Gary claimed [Christina El Moussa] — who was shaking and crying — told him Tarek had taken a gun,” the outlet continued.

TMZ revealed Gary Anderson is a contractor who has reportedly done work for Tarek and Christina El Moussa in the past. However, when the alleged incident took place, Anderson was at a neighbor’s house. Then, a few months later, his friendship with Christina El Moussa allegedly turned romantic.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa confirmed they had parted ways earlier this year on Monday.

In a statement to People Magazine, the HGTV house-flipping pair said, “We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.”

Following the reported incident, Christina El Moussa moved out of their marital home and into the home of her nanny. One month, Tarek moved out of their home and Christina and their kids, including six-year-old Taylor Reese and one-year-old Brayden James, returned to the house.

“During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be,” they continued. “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.”

Throughout the past several months, Christina El Moussa has kept her rumored romance with Gary Anderson to herself and when it comes to her family, she and Tarek appear to have remained united for the sake of their kids. In fact, in recent months, the estranged couple has shared numerous photos of one another on their Instagram pages and recently took their kids to see Santa.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa were married for seven years prior to their split.

Although Tarek and Christina El Moussa’s marriage may have reached its end, their HGTV series has not. Despite the couple’s split earlier this year, the network released a statement to The Wrap this week which confirmed the series, which was launched in 2013, would continue on past the currently airing seventh season.

“HGTV is currently airing episodes of Flip or Flop and the series will continue production as scheduled,” the network said, via a report by Yahoo! TV. “We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina’s great work on Flip or Flop. When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children.”
