Perez Hilton Calls Kim Kardashian’s Raunchy Return To Instagram ‘Disappointing’
Kim Kardashian made a so-called return to Instagram this week as her Kimoji brand launched a new account. The account features nine photos as of publish time that all focus on one thing: butts and boobs. The anonymous models are seen twerking in videos and showcasing ample cleavage as they wear what is imagined to be bras and panties by the Kimoji line. In just the two days since it’s release, the account has generated a following of over 5,000 users as word continues to spread.
While fans took to the comments to show their support of Kim’s somewhat comeback to social media, one person, in particular, is not so happy about the way she’s making her return. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton left comments on almost all nine of the photos documenting his disapproval of the way Kim made her Instagram return. From calling it “disappointing” to sarcastically saying “Nothing says Christmas quite like a twerking a**!,” Hilton is not impressed with Kardashian’s latest venture.
He brought up the fact the 36-year-old Kardashian has been mute from social media because of her traumatic robbery in Paris and chose to share twerking videos to mark her return to Instagram.
“After your ‘traumatic’ Paris robbery, THIS is how you return to Instagram? Clearly nothing’s changed.”
The comments are from Hilton’s personal and verified Instagram account and are getting mixed reviews online as people take to responding to his criticisms. Some agree with him as they voice their opinions.
“Thank you for saying exactly what I was thinking!!”
While others see Perez as nothing but a troll as he criticizes Kardashians marketing techniques.
“Ew you’re a troll.”
Other Kardashian fans went above and beyond in defending her name as they really let Perez know their thoughts and feelings on his comments.
“Can you say DESPERATE for attention much?! You comment non-stop on every A-list celebrities Instagram photos to get attention & to self-promote your trashy self. Clearly, your bullying ways haven’t changed, you’re still a D-lister nobody cares about!”
Sure, Hilton’s comments may seem a bit harsh, but he’s just voicing his opinion — which is his style and job — as much as the rest of Kardashian’s fans and haters are. However, some raised the question if Kim is really behind the new Instagram posts as it’s most likely her marketing team making the calls.
“Why would you comment than on Kim after what (sic) happend?!?! First this is not Kim and second she’s probably not running this account!”
Instagram users also suggest it’s not Kim modeling in the photos, either. The photos all include the same caption, “December 16.” According to Us Weekly, this implies Kardashian is planning to release new merchandise on Friday. Fans shouldn’t be surprised to learn Kim is still working behind-the-scenes even though she isn’t personally sharing information on social media at the moment. Of course, she still needs to make money — a fact Perez brought up in one of his comments.
Hilton said Kim needs to keep the “money train” rolling as he suggests her sexy Kimoji photos are another ploy to keep fans interested in her brand. However, following Kylie Jenner’s recent launch of The Kylie Shop, learning Kim is doing something similar should not come as a shock to fans. Kim has previously released Kimoji merch through her app and website, reported Bustle, but it didn’t generate as much attention as the newly created Instagram account.
People reported Kim has “liked” most of the new Kimoji account’s photos from her personal account, proving she’s still active on the social media platform. The Kardashian has yet to respond to Hilton’s comments at the time. While the blogger only has negative things to say about Kim’s return, her fans’ thoughts can be summed up in one Instagram user’s comment.
“Yesss!! Welcome back Queen.”
