Blake Lively Determined To Lose Baby Weight As Husband Ryan Reynolds Plans Taking ‘The Shallows’ Actress Out For ‘Nice Dinner’
Blake Lively once said that she is not in a hurry to shed the weight she gained from pregnancy, but it looks like she is sick and tired of not fitting into her jeans!
In her recent Instagram posts, she talked about getting back into shape by exercising and eating well. While her husband Ryan Reynolds is usually in full support of whatever she does, it looks like, this time, he might be more of a hindrance!
While 2016 is still in full swing, The Shallows star revealed her New Year’s Resolution on Instagram, hinting that she wants to lose weight.
Right before that post, she took a picture of herself hiding from her personal trainer at a gym, showing that working out is the last thing she wants to do.
If she wants to shed that baby weight, she better shift her attitude to exercising!
The thing is, she will have a hard time losing the baby weight as she and her husband Ryan Reynolds just love to eat! Right after the birth of her second baby, she posted on Instagram the joys of professional chefs cooking for you instead of slaving away in the kitchen.
“As the Hollywood pair enjoys life with two kids, the talented duo was able to savor some time with a few kitchen experts,” reported E! Online.
“Spent the weekend getting schooled by @thecountrycat’s Adam and Jackie Sappington, the obscenely charming and funny chefs from @foodnetwork,” Ryan wrote as a caption to his Instagram update. “If anybody’s looking for them, they’re handcuffed to my stove until the next olympics. I’ll raise their two boys as if they were my own—which, frankly, is a terrible thing for all involved.”
Let’s hope that she now requests these decadent meals to be cooked healthily!
But Ryan and Blake also love to eat out, which means that it won’t be as easy to keep on the diet plan. The Deadpool actor recently revealed that, to thank his wife, he will take her out to “a nice dinner.”
“I think tonight, we’re gonna go out for a nice dinner. I think we’re going to have date night, just she and I,” he said to E! Online when he was asked for plans after the GQ party. “I owe her that too because… I would characterize her as an invisible partner in this whole thing. She was so helpful with Deadpool and I bounced so many ideas off of her, and I worked with her with so many of the little nuances on the character.”
In times like this, it may be helpful for Blake to remember what she said to the journalist during her pregnancy. When one of them marked the fact that she looked bikini-ready just months after giving birth to her first daughter, she said that that kind of expectation is hard for famous mothers.
“It’s so unfair though, because it’s so celebrated,” she said to People Magazine. “It’s like, this is what someone can look like after a baby. I think a woman’s body after having a baby is pretty amazing.”
“You don’t need to be Victoria’s Secret ready right away because you just did the most incredible miracle that life has to offer. I mean you gave birth to a human being! So I would really like to see that celebrated.”
