Bella Hadid And The Weeknd Reunite At The 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Are They Getting Back Together? [Photos]

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd reportedly broke up weeks ago but tonight, they will be seen together as they reunite on the runway during the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Last week in Paris, France, the fashion show was filmed and as 20-year-old Bella Hadid made her official debut with the brand, her ex-boyfriend took the stage as a performer.

Although many expected the reunion would be awkward, Bella Hadid appeared to be happy to see her ex-boyfriend and in photos of the former couple on the runway together, they looked as if they never split at all. Then, after the show, as Yahoo! Celebrity reported on December 2, Bella Hadid gushed over The Weeknd’s performance on her Instagram page.

“Thank you @theweeknd for being the best and most incredible performer not he planet… You KILLED it, as always,” Bella Hadid wrote, along with a photo of herself and the 26-year-old musician.

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd reportedly parted ways after nearly two years together last month. As Us Weekly revealed at the time, the former couple’s busy schedules were to blame. Currently, Bella Hadid is at the top of her game in modeling and frequently traveling around the globe. Meanwhile, The Weeknd is busy promoting his new album, Starboy, which was released on November 25.

“They still have a great deal of love and respect for each other and will remain friends, but it has been too hard to coordinate their schedules with him finishing and promoting his upcoming album,” a source close to The Weeknd explained to the magazine. “They really tried to make it work.”

As the magazine revealed, Bella Hadid and The Weeknd met in a professional setting after he requested she be featured in his artwork for his breakthrough album, Beauty Behind the Madness, in April of last year. The following year, after Bella Hadid appeared in his music video for “In the Night,” they made their romance official during a joint appearance at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Bella Hadid then confirmed their relationship for a second time during an interview with Glamour magazine. “I’m dating Abel,” she said in August. “I don’t see him as The Weeknd. I’m proud of The Weeknd and the music he makes, but I really love Abel.”

Following their split, Bella Hadid briefly reunited with The Weeknd in Paris. According to an E! News report just prior to the taping of the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Bella Hadid and a few of her female friends visited the Hôtel Costes, where The Weeknd was enjoying a meal with a few pals, including Ryan Phillippe.

“[Bella Hadid sat next to The Weeknd and spoke for a little while to him. They were really cool with each other,” a source explained to E! News. “Bella was in a great mood, smiling and seemed really happy while being there.”

Before taking to the stage during last week’s show, Bella Hadid spoke of her upcoming on-stage run-in with her former boyfriend.

“This is his second year performing, and I think he’s going to kill it,” she told E! News. “There is no awkwardness. He is my best friend, and I am excited because I am walking during his performance.”

As for a potential reconciliation between Bella Hadid and The Weeknd, a source told the outlet that a reunion was quite possible.

“Bella and The Weeknd have been talking again. The Weeknd sent Bella something special to her room to wish her luck on her big day. He also spoke and texted her today and throughout these past few days in Paris. They are on great terms—not back together but still talking and are still in love with each other.”

“Getting back together is possible in future. He has been really supportive with [Bella Hadid],” the source added.
