Kim Kardashian Misses Angel Ball, Kanye West Hospitalized

Kim Kardashian was a no show at the Angel Ball event because her husband Kanye West was hospitalized in Los Angeles.

Kim K was expected to be absent because she was still shaken by the Paris robbery, and many people had predicted that she has not gotten over it. Kim has been maintaining a low profile ever since the robbery and even limited her public appearances. However, Kim has been recovering well, and thus her chances of attending the Angel ball were looking good and she was actually supposed to be present with her family. Unfortunately, her husband Kanye West was hospitalized.

Kanye was taken to hospital for a psychiatric evaluation after he canceled all his scheduled concerts for the remaining part of the year. Kim got news of Kanye’s hospitalization right after landing in New York for the ball. She then decided to jet back to Los Angeles so that she could be with her husband. Sources claim that Kanye was taken to hospital on Monday after willingly agreeing to go following the advice of his physician. West suffered from sleep deprivation and exhaustion.

While Kim went to see her husband, the rest of the Kardashian family members decided to stay and attend the Angel Ball in honor of the late Kardashian patriarch, Robert Kardashian. It was the first time that Kim was expected to attend a public event since the unfortunate robbery in Paris. Unfortunately, the hospitalization of her husband meant she had to skip the event.

“He’s just really tired. It’s a grueling tour,” Kris Jenner told Entertainment Tonight while at the gala.

Other sources have confirmed that Kanye canceled his other scheduled concerts due to exhaustion. The rapper had been on a comprehensive tour and he had also been working on his own fashion line as well as the Adidas line. He was, therefore, taking up a lot of work and this has been weighing down on him. West had been overexerting himself and he wanted to push through with the concerts because he did not want to disappoint his fans. Prior to the hospitalization, the rapper had a very busy weekend at a concert for his “Saint Pablo Tour.” During the concert, he went on a rant about Jay Z, Beyonce, and voting for Trump.

Luckily, Kanye’s health condition was not a serious one. He also has Kim by his side so he should be alright. As for the rest of the Kardashians, they attended the Angel Ball in honor of Robert Kardashian. They showed up in usual Kardashian fashion, dressed to kill. Kris, Kourtney, and Khloe passed by the red carpet before going inside where the event was held. Right before they got in, one of the fans in the crowd asked how Kanye was doing and Kris responded that he was exhausted.

The rest of the Kardashians including Rob, Kylie, and Kendall were not seen at the event. Rob was most likely spending time with Blac Chyna and their newborn. As for Kylie and Kendall, it is not clear what they were up to that evening since they did not show up. Though the gala was the first night for Kim to publicly show up after the robbery, the unfortunate news about her husband meant she would not be available at the Angel Ball.

“She very much likes spending every day with her kids. Many times in the past, it was very hard for her to be away from her kids for work. Now she gets to wake up with her kids and go to sleep with her kids,” a source said about Kim taking time off from her busy schedule.

Kim seems to be going through quite a handful lately. A few weeks ago, doctors told her that she could not risk getting pregnant again because there would most likely be complications. This time, she was surprised by news of Kanye’s hospitalization, causing her not to attend the Angel Ball. Overall, it has been quite an eventful year for Kim and Kanye, but hopefully, Kanye will soon be out of the hospital and they will overcome the hard times.
