Kandi Burruss And Kris Kelli: ‘RHOA’ Star Apologizes For Insensitive Comments
Kandi Burruss was surprised on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta when a familiar face showed up at her place of work in Atlanta. Kandi was busy having a meeting with her team when her daughter’s father’s girlfriend showed up at her work, asking if she could possibly have a word with Burruss. Kandi was surprised and shocked, but she was willing to hear what her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend had to say. Clearly, Kandi was upset with various things, including how she felt ambushed at her own office, about how Riley’s father had just abandoned her and how she had to raise Riley as a single mother.
According to a new Instagram post, Kandi Burruss is now revealing that she may have made some insensitive comments in the heat of the moment on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. One of the comments she made had to do with a green card, and Kandi Burruss is now revealing that she could have handled that situation much better.

“I was dead ass wrong for the green card comment! I was pi**ed & with Trump coming to office I was saying she should be worried about that instead of making comments about my daughter & her dad’s relationship. But I was wrong & I apologize to Kris Kelli & anyone else that I offended,” Kandi Burruss revealed on Instagram, apologizing for her comment about her baby daddy’s new girlfriend.

Of course, Burruss didn’t think that it was appropriate for Kris Kelli to come into her office and start talking about her daughter. Kris Kelli hinted that her boyfriend really wanted to get in touch with his daughter again, and he wanted to make things right. But Kandi revealed that she couldn’t force her daughter to do anything she didn’t want to do, especially when it came to forgiving her father and moving on.

And as it turns out, Burruss doesn’t like that the baby drama is playing out on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. It’s something that she has been dealing with for years, and she doesn’t want to talk about it on the show for the sake of her daughter. As she revealed on The Real Housewives of Atlanta last night, her daughter has moved on from her father, and she has shut the door on a relationship with him.

“I hate that my baby daddy drama is a part of the show this season. I’ve never wanted to put him on blast because at the end of the day he’s still my daughters dad. I don’t know why he chose to do this but here we are. With that being said I’m gonna be real & say I don’t know how to fix the situation at this point. My daughter is 14 & has put a wall up. If he wants to fix it then he’s gonna have to work & humble hisself to build a relationship with her. Have any of you been able to build a relationship after this many years have passed? If so how?” Kandi Burruss revealed.

So, what made Kris Kelli show up at Kandi Burruss’ office to talk to her about Riley? Well, fans believe that production set it all up because Kris was caught filming with her boyfriend about Riley. It seemed a little staged and set up and Kandi admits that she herself was caught off guard.
“I honestly thought production made her come visit,” one person wrote to Kandi Burruss after seeing how her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend just showed up at her place of work, to which Kandi added, “Of course they did. But I didn’t know. Could u imagine how I felt?”
What do you think of Kandi Burruss’ way of handling the situation? Do you think she should push her daughter a bit more to see her father or do you think she’s old enough to make her own decisions based on the past?
