Jinger Duggar Pregnant? Jeremy Vuolo Looked ‘Unhappy,’ ‘Miserable’ Post Honeymoon [Video]
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo have only been married for a couple of weeks, yet pregnancy rumors have already started circulating online. After seeing the newlyweds’ honeymoon update video, fans predicted that it was only a matter of time before the Duggars welcomed another member of the family. While this could be a cause for celebration, eagle-eyed Counting On fans cannot help but notice that Jeremy did not look too happy in the honeymoon clip. Could there be trouble in paradise this early on for the newlyweds?
Hollywood Take stated that it’s not really surprising if Jinger Duggar got pregnant soon after the wedding. The site pointed out that her sisters Jill and Jessa started families a year into their marriage. Jill and Derick got married in June of 2014 and had Israel in April of 2015. On the other hand, Jessa and Ben tied the knot in November of 2014 and had Spurgeon in November of 2015.
While the Duggars follow a strict “courtship guideline,” even saving their first kiss for the wedding, they end up getting pregnant almost immediately after marriage. As using contraceptives also goes against their religious beliefs, it’s not surprising that the family kept growing quite rapidly.
In one of the episodes of Counting On, Anna Duggar, Josh’s wife, joked that it was only a matter of time before their family expands to the point that she can’t remember her niece and nephew’s names.
“With Jess and Ben expecting, and Jill and Derick probably gonna be expecting soon, and then Jinger and Jeremy getting married, it won’t be long before we’ll be like, ‘Wait a minute. I know you’re my nephew but what’s your name?'” she said.
Although Jinger and Jeremy’s courtship moved surprisingly fast, the Duggar family wanted to see the young couple enjoy themselves first before starting a family. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jessa Seewald said that Jinger and Jeremy shouldn’t be in a rush to get pregnant just yet.
“Jinger and Jeremy are just getting married, so we’re going to give them time. No pressure,” she said.
Back in August, when Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo were just planning their wedding, the couple shared that they haven’t really talked about how many kids they wanted to have. Jinger, however, told Us Weekly that she’s excited to start a family with Jeremy. Just like the Counting On star, Jeremy shared that he also loves kids and sees himself having a large family, but maybe not as big as the Duggars.
“We haven’t talked about size, but I know we both love children. They’re a joy. We’ll have to see what the Lord provides,” he said.
Early this week, Jinger and Jeremy gave Counting On fans an update on their honeymoon in Australia. Jinger was excited to see a kangaroo and try Australian coffee, while Jeremy couldn’t wait to try the local cuisines. The couple also thanked their fans for their support over the past year.
“We are just so grateful for all of you, what you’ve done, for us in our relationship so far and we are excited about the future,” Jeremy said.
Although it was supposed to be happy video, Counting On fans cannot help but notice that Jeremy Vuolo did not look at all thrilled for someone who is on his honeymoon. Many commented that he looked “unhappy,” “miserable,” and did not at all seem excited in the whole clip. Some, however, immediately came to his defense and said that he was probably just exhausted from traveling.
