Watch Mexico Vs. Panama Football Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video Link For Tuesday’s World Cup Qualifying Match
Fans can watch the Mexico vs. Panama football match live online and see if a short-handed El Tri team can follow up last week’s big win over the United States and take a step toward qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.
After defeating the United Stats 2-1 on a late goal, Mexico will turn its attention toward a Panama team that is also missing several key players. The teams will meet at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, with the kickoff scheduled for 9:05 p.m. ET.
Following Friday’s win, it could be difficult for El Tri to hold its momentum as three players on the field for the win will now be out against Panama. As The Sporting News noted, Andres Guardado will be out with an injury, while Carlos Salcedo is suspended, and Carlos Vela is out after the birth of his child.

Guardado’s absence was already reflected in some of Mexico’s struggles against the United States on Friday, the report noted.
“Rafa Marquez, who moved up from center back, survived but didn’t thrive next to Hector Herrera. Coach Juan Carlos Osorio may not keep things the same, but if wanted to maintain the formation that troubled the U.S., or even if he switches his alignment, he could turn to Jonathan dos Santos or Jesus Duenas.”
Salcedo’s absence isn’t seen as that big of a problem, The Sporting News added, as Diego Reyes will be able to slide back into the right back role where he actually started before Guardado’s injury forced Salcedo to center back.
Fans who watch the Mexico vs. Panama football match live online will see the host team missing some key players as well. Felipe Baloy and Armando Cooper were both lost during the team’s 1-0 win over Honduras on Friday, with both receiving yellow card suspensions.
Panama’s win over Honduras was unexpected, and now the team will move back to their home country, where the Mexican team has been impotent over most of the last two decades. El Tri is on a 16-year winless streak in Panama, although it might end on Tuesday.

As SB Nation noted, it will still take an inspired performance for Panama to keep up its win streak. Either way, it is expected to be a tight contest and likely an exciting matchup for both teams.
“Panama is always a tough place to play in, so if Panama can leverage that and their momentum, they might just be able to stop Mexico cold — it will take a brilliant performance, but it’s not impossible in any way. This will be a tight, nail-biting, tricky match for both teams, and with so much on the line it’s going to be an interesting one to watch.”
Despite the historic winless streak in Panama, Mexican team has been playing inspired football under coach Juan Carlos Osorio, something that Panama coach Hernan Gomez noted.
“Juan Carlos Osorio is very important, even above the [Mexican] team. He’s very capable,” Gomez said (via ESPNFC). “He’s a coach with personality. He’s studious, and I’m sure he’s doing everything to be in the top four or eight [at Russia 2018].”
One of the more interesting parts about Mexico’s win over the United States on Friday was the play of Javier Hernández. The team’s leader on the pitch was kept mostly quiet, making the win that much more impressive. As SB Nation predicted, the uncharacteristically poor performance against the United States could leave El Tri’s best player even more motivated to win against Panama.
