‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 To Have ‘Zombiefied’ Robb Stark? Richard Madden Unsure

Warning: This article contains possible spoilers.

Following her brutal death, many have speculated that Lady Catelyn would be reanimated as Lady Stoneheart in HBO’s famed Game of Thrones. Some thought that she would come back and avenge her family. However, as the theory seems to become less and less likely, there are fans who believe that it will be Robb instead who will return from death.

Richard Madden, who played the role of Catelyn and Ned’s oldest son, told The Hollywood Reporter that he’s unaware of what showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are planning. Regardless of what happened to Robb, Richard is proud of his storyline.

“I’ve not heard anything, of course. I suppose I wouldn’t have the phone call, because they’re very secretive about everything. I feel very, very proud to have been a part of that. But Robb Stark had such a great storyline, three seasons where he had this great start, middle and end to his character, and it set up such a great purpose to the show up to that point. Every character really progresses the show along. Now I can just watch it and enjoy it.”

When asked if he still wants to come back in the upcoming seasons of Game of Thrones, he expressed uncertainty.

“I don’t know, I’d have to read. I stopped reading the books a couple years ago because the show kept changing and I’d much rather just watch it and see what came next.”

Many hoped that “Lord Stoneheart” would become a reality especially after Beric Dondarrion’s appearance in the previous Game of Thrones season. Earlier theories suggested that a “zombie” Robb would help Jon and Sansa defeat Ramsay. This didn’t happen when the “Battle of Bastards” aired.

The previous seasons of Game of Thrones used to base their pivotal scenes on George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, but the delayed release of Winds of Winter prompted Benioff and Weiss to completely take over the show.

It remains unknown if Robb will return. Nonetheless, another fan favorite is set to come back as confirmed by Watchers on the Wall. The website claims that the headstrong Lyanna Mormont will again unleash her feistiness in the upcoming Game of Thrones Season 7. Bella Ramsey’s recent photograph taken while working for the series similarly confirms her return.

Now that the show has surpassed the novels, fans are eager to know more about the upcoming storylines. Ben Crompton, known for playing the role of Jon’s pal Edd, told The Express that fans would be taken aback by the events that happen, which is a feeling that might not be new to viewers.

“We are back on season seven and we have a lot of fun,” he said. “I am like a lot of the fans, I am always keen to find out what will happen next. It is exciting when the scripts come through. There are some surprises. We are gearing towards the end.”

Jon, who is now the King in the North, has officially appointed Edd as the new Lord Commander. Many of Crompton’s scenes are filmed in Castle Black where it’s definitely cold. The actor claims that despite the harsh weather conditions, he enjoys working there because “it is a genuine set that you can interact with.”

Emilia Clarke similarly gave Game of Thrones viewers a glimpse of what the cast and crew members need to endure while filming. It appears that the showrunners have been successful in ensuring that the scenes would have the most dismal backdrops. It was earlier reported that Game of Thrones Season 7 wouldn’t air in the summer of 2017 because the team wants to have the gloomiest settings.
