Medion S47000 Pocket Camcorder Is Shock and Splash Resistant

The camcorder market thanks to Flip Camcorders has been flooded with pocket sized devices capable of taking decent videos for the small amount of money it costs to own one. Now Medion is looking to capitalize on the pocket size camcorder market with the Medion S47000.

This pocket sized camcorder just like many Flip’s on the market is capable of taking 720P videos in the .MOV file format, while storing those movies on the units meager 90MB internal memory drive, or more than likely via an SDHC card which can be purchased separately from the unit.

Unlike Flip models or even the Creative Vado HD, this model is shock and splash resistant, while also coming in at a respectable size of 65 x 105 x 23mm and a rather lightweight 85g.

Now satisfied with just video abilities. The S47000 will also let you take quick still pictures, unfortunately the 1MP picture capture is rather mediocre. Music fans can also use the included built-in MP3 player.

For connectivity purposes the unit offers both USB and HDMI connections for PC and HDTV playback, while an internal li-ion battery should ensure plenty of usage time.
