Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Custody Battle: She Enforces New Rules For His Time With Their Kids?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in the midst of a custody battle, and their feud over their six kids may have just taken a dramatic turn for the worse — at least as far as Pitt is concerned.

According to a new report, Jolie does not want her estranged husband, who has been accused of child abuse in the weeks since she filed for divorce, around their children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8, without supervision.

“Angelina Jolie is setting new rules for Brad Pitt, and that includes supervised visits with the couple’s six children with a family therapist,” Celebrity Dirty Laundry revealed to readers on October 16, revealing that Brad Pitt just saw his kids for the first time since Jolie’s filing, which included a request for full physical custody of the children.

In her filing, via TMZ, Jolie cited irreconcilable differences and requested Pitt be granted nothing more than visitation with his kids — and only joint legal custody. According to the report, Jolie’s filing was prompted by her conflict with Brad Pitt over their kids and his alleged issues with substance abuse and anger.

Jolie became “fed up” with Brad Pitt’s consumption of weed and possibly alcohol, TMZ’s source explained, and felt that his issues, combined with what she labeled as “an anger problem” had become dangerous for their children.

In a statement to TMZ after the filing, Jollie’s entertainment lawyer, Robert Offer, said the actress filed for divorce from Brad Pitt “for the health of the family.”

After Jolie’s filing on September 19, Brad Pitt was kept away from his kids for weeks until their recent meeting on October 8. As Celebrity Dirty Laundry pointed out, Jolie has appeared to be the villain in the scenario due to her past claims that Pitt was a great father who was caring and loving with their kids. She also suggested that Brad Pitt was abusing drugs, but as the outlet also noted, Pitt has already taken a drug test during their custody battle and the results were negative.

As for Brad Pitt’s first meeting with his kids since their mother’s divorce filing, the outlet said the visit was “gut-wrenching” as the children realized for the first time that their family life will never be the same.

“[Brad Pitt] had tears in his eyes and tried to hold it together because he didn’t want them to get upset because he was crying. The visit was gut-wrenching: Vivienne and Zahara both started crying,” a source told In Touch Weekly of the visit, via a report by the Daily Mail last week.

Since being separated from his wife and children, Brad Pitt has understandably gone through hard times and sadly, a source claimed he hasn’t had a lot of support due to his estrangement from many of his old friends.

“Unfortunately, [Brad Pitt] could use all of his old friends right now,” a source told Hollywood Life earlier this month. “He feels like his life is completely empty without the kids. The house feels big and empty and far too quiet. Brad is still really torn up about everything. He is desperate to finalize a custody arrangement with Angie but there is no way he’s going to agree on anything but equal custody.”

Brad Pitt is currently living in the Hollywood Hills as his wife and children remain in another home nearby.
