Take A Look At All Of The New Online Missions That Were Added To ‘GTA V’ With The Bikers DLC Update
When Rockstar Games first announced the latest update for Grand Theft Auto Online last month, the developer didn’t actually share any details on what exactly the Bikers DLC would add to GTA V‘s online multiplayer mode. Thankfully, the team has now explained everything that the new motorcycle-themed expansion has to offer now that the update has officially launched today on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
In addition to revealing a new gameplay trailer for GTA Online‘s new Biker update, the developer also outlined the new features of the DLC today on the Rockstar Newswire blog. As could be expected from new content focusing on the biker lifestyle, the update adds more than a dozen new motorcycles to Grand Theft Auto V. Players can also turn their GTA Online characters into true bikers thanks to the addition of dozens of new customization options ranging from leather jackets, tattoos, and hairstyles.
Grand Theft Auto Online‘s newest update doesn’t just give players the chance to dress like bikers, however, as the primary new feature of the DLC allows users to create and run their own motorcycle clubs. Fans can now choose from a number of foreclosed buildings across GTA V‘s map which can be used as headquarters for the new player-run biker gangs.
“GTA Online: Bikers opens up an entirely new part of the criminal underbelly of GTA Online, bringing proper Motorcycle Clubs to the roadways and ever-evolving illicit markets of Blaine County and Los Santos.”
After purchasing a clubhouse, fans can then become the president of their own motorcycle gang by recruiting other players to join their organization. New members start out as Prospects, but the club president can promote their biker brethren to a number of specialized ranks such as road captain, sergeant-at-arms, and vice president.
Once their gang is formed, would-be bikers can expect to do more than simply sit around their clubhouse since this week’s DLC also adds several new missions for motorcycle clubs to participate in. While speaking more about these new modes on their official support website, Rockstar Games fully detailed the new biker jobs that were introduced in today’s update.
The missions are broken down into several different categories and give players a large selection of new content to enjoy. For the aggressive biker who just wants to fight rival gangs, club presidents can start one of four different Club Work challenges that include straightforward brawls, fighting over territory, or even motorcycle jousts.
Those looking for more friendly competition can take part in Club Challenges, which allow users to compete against their own club members to eliminate targets, cause vehicle damage while on a motorcycle, or enter wheelie contests. Special member challenges can also be initiated by players who hold specific ranks in the gang. For example, road captains can challenge the club to different motorcycle races while the sergeant-at-arms can begin a side mission to see who can survive the longest with a five star wanted rating.
Not all of the Biker content in GTA Vs latest update is competitive, however. Clubs can also engage in several new cooperative missions. These clubhouse contracts send gangs on a variety of jobs throughout the open free roam map of Grand Theft Auto Online. While some of these missions do still contain a competitive element from opposing players, a few of the jobs can be completed in private lobbies for a true co-op experience. This is good news, since GTA V has had a noticeable lack of co-op content recently as the Inquisitr pointed out last month.
