Justin Bieber, Sofia Richie Split: He Didn’t Want To Commit To Just One Girl

Justin Bieber reportedly ended things with Sofia Richie because he missed “the benefits of bachelorhood,” an insider has revealed.

Just one week after reports claimed that the singer asked for a cheating pass from Sofia, the couple has chosen to go their separate ways, with an insider, via Hollywood Life, making it very clear that Justin was not down to commit himself to just one particular person.

While their romance was beginning to blossom rather quickly, Bieber realized that Richie was looking to start a full-on, committed relationship. Bieber was said to have been Sofia’s first real boyfriend, and it seems as if Justin didn’t want to invest any further time in the relationship, only to realize later on that he shouldn’t have dated her at all.

According to the source, Justin Bieber loves dating women, and he even likes being in relationships with them. But when it gets to the point where things are more serious, and the girls start to catch feelings for the pop star, he tries to break it off because he knows that he doesn’t want to settle down with them. In plain words, it’s more or less just a little bit of fun for him.

“Justin Bieber, 22, loves dating, and occasionally a girl will grab his eye for a brief moment, but then he finds himself missing the benefits of bachelorhood,” the source revealed. “One thing that was different with Sofia Richie, 18, is that Justin thought was she was really cool.”

Sofia has known Justin Bieber for years, making their romance far from surprising. Still, it seems as if Bieber had enough respect for Richie to dissolve their romance before Sofia really falls for Justin and their friendship ultimately dies out because JB wasn’t honest with her from the get-go.

Bieber hasn’t publicly claimed to be in a relationship with someone since ending his four-year romance with Selena Gomez. The “Come & Get It” songstress often found herself making headlines in the tabloids with reports claiming at the time that Justin was sleeping with multiple women behind the singer’s back, Just Jared explained at the time.

Selena allegedly found some hardcore evidence, which led to many breakups and makeups until the twosome decided to split up for good in 2014. Fans strongly believe that the commitment issues he had in his relationship with Selena Gomez explain why he felt the need to end things with Sofia Richie.

After all, Justin and Sofia were close pals before they started dating. So, instead of losing the friend that he’s known for years, he was honest with the way he felt about their relationship and ultimately broke things off before Sofia’s feelings could get hurt.

It was just a month ago when Justin Bieber confirmed reports he was dating Sofia via Instagram. It would eventually lead to his brief social media feud with his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, who slammed Bieber for exposing his romance online, and then complaining when people post negative comments about his new lover.

Their short-lived feud led to the revelation that Selena allegedly hooked up with Zayn Malik while she was still with Justin. Adding insult to injury, Bieber branded Gomez as an opportunist, who only used him for fame and publicity. Ouch.
