Brad Pitt Affair? Angelina Jolie Divorce Filing Sparks Cheating Chatter, Marion Cotillard Front And Center
Did Brad Pitt cheat on Angelina Jolie? Brad Pitt affair rumors are at an all-time high after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on Monday. According to TMZ, the actress cited irreconcilable differences in the legal court paperwork, asking for sole physical custody of the couple’s six children and opting to forgo any kind of child or spousal support (not like she needs the money).
Sources told TMZ that Jolie’s decision to file for divorce from Pitt was based solely on disagreements stemming from the way they are raising their children. Sources explained that Jolie didn’t approve of the way that Pitt was parenting the kids. The source did not elaborate on this and TMZ seemed to leave it hanging for people to draw their own conclusions.

However, many believe that Brad Pitt cheated on Angelina Jolie, carrying on an affair with Marion Cotillard. According to Hollywood Life, there have been quite a few reports out there about Brad Pitt stepping out on his wife of two years. The report surfaced back in May and was reported on by several gossip rags. However, nothing came of the rumors and they were swept under the rug for the most part.
Now that Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce, the rumors are heating up once more. Could sources be blaming parenting for Jolie’s reasoning in order to cover up Brad Pitt’s cheating?
If you don’t live under a rock, you probably know that Brad Pitt cheated on his wife Jennifer Aniston with Angelina Jolie. The two met and fell in love while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Pitt and Aniston split and Pitt carried on his love affair with Jolie. The two ended up having children, adopting children, and eventually getting married (2014).
As the saying goes, “if they cheat with you, they’ll cheat on you,” thousands of people truly believe that Brad Pitt wasn’t being faithful to Angelina Jolie. Of course, this would make sense as Jolie waited until those Marion Cotillard rumors quieted down before she filed legal documents to end her marriage.
If Brad Pitt did cheat on Angelina Jolie, most people wouldn’t be surprised. For many, it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. Since Pitt met Jolie on set and ended up having an affair with her, it seems “normal” for him to find another actress whom he couldn’t resist. Was it Marion Cotillard? The world may never know. Unless, of course, Brad Pitt is a creature of habit.
If Pitt is having an affair with Cotillard, there’s a chance that he could date her and just move on with his life — not unlike what happened when he left Aniston high and dry. But would the world let Brad Pitt get away with this twice?
When Brad Pitt cheated on Jennifer Aniston with Angelina Jolie, people hated him. How could anyone do such a thing to everyone’s favorite “girl next door”? However, everyone seemed to get over it (although they’ll probably still tell you that they are “Team Jen”) and many loved Brangelina.
But would people actually love Brarion? Will that even become a thing? It’s hard to know what’s really going on with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but this divorce filing was shocking to say the very least.
