Is Taylor Swift Really Into British Men Or Zac Efron?
The Taylor Swift dating rumors have been heating up ever since the singer split from British actor Tom Hiddleston. Although she hasn’t been spotted with Zac Efron since they both starred in the movie Dr. Seuss: The Lorax, the two have been linked together again.
Taylor Swift, 26, is reportedly on the rebound after her recent split. She’s after Zac Efron, even though they aren’t really each other’s types, reports Hollywood Life. Efron doesn’t usually date blondes, while Swift is really into men from across the pond. She has dated British star Harry Styles, U.K. born Calvin Harris, and Hiddleston. Now, Swift wants to give it a shot with her old friend, claims the inside source.
“Zac would be going totally against his type with Taylor. He always goes for the exotic dark haired girls, he’s never been into blondes. But he loves super confident women and Taylor is the full package. Zac is very turned on by alpha-women. Right now they’re just friends but it wouldn’t be hard for her to sweep him off his feet.”
The rumors first started in the new issue of In Touch, as reported by Hollywood Life. An alleged insider told the tabloid that Swift wants to pursue a relationship with the former High School Musical star, and that she’s already telling her fans that she wants to move on from Hiddleston – with Efron.
“She’s been talking about him nonstop since her breakup with Tom. She’s always said she feels a strong connection to Zac, but could never act on it because they’ve always been dating other people.”
Both Swift and Efron are single at the moment, however, as the 28-year-old actor ended his relationship with Sam Miro this past spring. The tabloid also noted that the two want to spend more time with each other.
“Taylor and Zac have always been pretty flirty with each other. She’s reached out to Zac and told him that they should hang out and maybe go to dinner together, and he’s into it. It just hasn’t happened yet because of their schedules.”
The two have hung out before. Swift and Efron first met back in 2012 when they promoted their film The Lorax. According to Hollywood Life, Swift and Efron went on a dinner date that January. The two have been friendly and kept in touch, via text messages and phone calls. Swift was even seen attending a party for Efron’s movie, The Neighbors, back in 2014.
The following video from CelebsNow proves that Swift and Efron would make a cute couple. Back in 2012, the two made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where they sang a duet on the spot.
However, Efron may not be Swift’s type after all. She clearly has a type, which is British men, as noted before. Gigi Hadid revealed in a new interview with ES Magazine that both she and her famous best friend love dating British men. The 21-year-old model, who’s currently dating Zayn Malik, revealed why both she and Swift love dating British men, reports Us Weekly.
“Well, I think we both like the British sense of charm,” she simply told the publication.
Of course, Hadid’s remarks were made before Swift and Hiddleston called it quits. As Us Weekly first reported on Friday, Sept. 9, the pop star was the one to end her three-month relationship with the Night Manager star.
“They just dived in and it backfired,” a source told the magazine. “They decided to take a break, and it turned into a breakup.”
