Malia Obama Pot Scandal Grows Out Of Control As Tensions With Her Father Allegedly Escalate

The Malia Obama pot scandal is growing out of control as tensions with her father allegedly escalate.

The 18-year-old, who’s taking a gap year until she attends Harvard University in 2017, is in the headlines at least once a week for her hard partying ways. She’s been on a party streak ever since graduating in June, and her actions have supposedly been upsetting her dad, President Barack Obama.

Two sources purportedly close to Malia tell Radar Online that friends are worried about her after the pot smoking scandal began. The president is allegedly “tearing his hair out” over his daughter’s conduct, according to one of the insiders.

“Even more importantly, he doesn’t want her to do anything that could hurt her. But Malia pointed out to her dad that he went through his own wild phase. Right now, she thinks he’s acting like the Hypocrite in Chief!”

The source said that the president has tried convincing his daughter to make changes so she’s not in a “position that will further embarrass and humiliate him and her mom.”

According to a “confided pal,” those close to her are urging her to seek help and go to rehab before things get worse. They fear she’s heading on a downward spiral.

“Her friends are concerned for her. Malia has a problem and it’s not going to go away without some professional help. Getting the President’s daughter into some sort of rehab or educational program is critical and definitely would not be an overreaction.”

Malia Obama was recently seen wearing a t-shirt that read “Smoking Kills” when she showed up at the Budweiser Made in America Festival in Philadelphia over Labor Day weekend. Ironically, she was photographed shortly after that at another party sitting next to a large bong.

The “Smoking Kills” t-shirt was a dig at the press attention she received for a video that leaked days after she was seen smoking at the Lollapalooza music festival on July 31. A witness alleged that Malia Obama was smoking marijuana. She said Malia took what was believed to be a joint from a guy at the party and puffed on it for maybe a minute before giving it back. It’s unconfirmed if it was pot.

Malia went on vacation with her family to Martha’s Vineyard a few weeks later when Secret Service agents reportedly rushed her out of a house party that police were about to raid due to noise complaints. Rumors of friction between Malia and her father ignited after that. Their body language was dissected by the press when they arrived back in Washington, D.C. because they weren’t walking side-by-side. On any other given day, no one would have assumed anything strange about Michelle Obama walking with Malia and President Obama walking with Sasha.

This week a new photo emerged of Malia Obama playing beer pong. There’s no evidence of her drinking or smoking at the party.

Daily Mail reports that the photo of Malia playing beer pong was uploaded to Snapchat. Plastic cups and beer cans were strewn all over the table. A source said the image was taken on August 23 in Maryland at a house party just days after getting home from the Martha’s Vineyard vacation. According to the report, First Lady Michelle Obama’s press office hasn’t returned a request for comment.

The president has a few months left in office, and his daughter is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Speculations continue that the pot scandal Malia Obama is embroiled in is a negative distraction during her father’s final months as president.
