Jacqueline Laurita On Caroline And Dina Manzo’s Rift And Whether Chris Has Seen Teresa Giudice’s Husband In Prison

On Sunday evening, Caroline Manzo revealed on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live that she and her sister, Dina Manzo, were estranged yet again, leading Dina to angrily lash out at Caroline on Twitter. Does this mean that Caroline and Dina’s sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita, is also on the outs with Dina yet again? On Tuesday evening, Jacqueline posted a Periscope video in which she talked about her current relationship with Dina. During the video, Jacqueline also talked about Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri’s family drama with Teresa Giudice, which is currently playing out on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and whether her husband, Chris Laurita, has talked to Teresa’s husband, Joe Giudice, since he entered prison.

On Sunday night, Caroline appeared on Watch What Happens Live after the season premiere episode of her spin-off Manzo’d with Children aired to promote the show. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, during Caroline’s appearance, she revealed that she and her sister Dina, after about 10 months of having a good relationship with one another, are no longer on good terms. Caroline compared Dina to a rock and put the blame on her, maintaining that she never did or said anything wrong to Dina. Dina responded to Caroline’s words by posting a series of tweets in which she accused Caroline of being the one to cut off contact with her and of hurting their parents. Dina even accused Caroline of revealing their sibling drama just to get attention for her show.

What does this mean for Dina’s relationship with Jacqueline, who is married to her and Caroline’s brother Chris Laurita? Now that Caroline and Dina, who now lives in California, are on the outs with one another, does that also mean that Jacqueline and Dina are on the outs? After all, Dina, during her previous years-long estrangement from Caroline, was also estranged from Jacqueline at the same time.

It was widely reported that when Dina Manzo returned to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for Season 6, she did so because Jacqueline Laurita was no longer on the show, only for producers to blindside her and have Jacqueline return towards the end of the season in guest spots. When Dina said on the Season 6 reunion show that she would never do a reality show with family ever again and blamed Jacqueline for their estrangement, Caroline Manzo blasted Dina on Watch What Happens Live, telling Dina to grow up and claiming that Dina even told their brother Chris to leave Jacqueline. Yet when Dina reconciled with Caroline in late 2014, she also reconciled with Jacqueline. The trio even got together for the holidays.

In her Periscope video, Jacqueline said that Caroline was just at her home visiting her grandchild, Ashlee Holmes’ son Cameron.

“Caroline and I are good. She was just over here the other day visiting Cameron.”

As for her relationship with Dina, Jacqueline admitted that while they haven’t seen or spoken to one another in a while, they’re at peace with one another.

“Dina, no, I haven’t seen her in a couple of years. We’re peaceful right now. But I haven’t seen her in a few years. I’ve posted for her for her skincare and she posted for us our popcorn but we haven’t talked at all.”

In a later Periscope video, Jacqueline spoke about Caroline’s current rift with Dina and their recent public spat with one another. Jacqueline called the situation “unfortunate.”

“Yeah it’s unfortunate with Caroline and Dina but you know eventually people come around. I guess it’s like that with a big family, it goes in cycles…”

Would Jacqueline, who’s a starring cast member on the current season, leave the show again if Dina returned in order to avoid the family’s drama play out on TV? Jacqueline said that she wouldn’t quit the show because of anyone’s presence.

“I wouldn’t quit if anybody returned to the show. Listen, I’m the last person to be afraid of confrontation. I’ve never had a problem with confrontation. I do best with one-on-one confrontation but I don’t get intimidated by people like that.”

While the drama going on with Jacqueline’s sister-in-laws are not now shown on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, co-star Teresa Giudice’s family drama with cousins Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri is. Jacqueline, who is good friends with Rosie and Kathy, voiced her support for them. Jacqueline said that Kathy and Rosie just wants to be family again with Teresa and are probably hurt and angry that Teresa has not made the same effort with them as she did with others. Jacqueline also said that people shouldn’t rule out a reconciliation between Teresa and her cousins, given the fact that Teresa’s now good with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, something that many viewers probably thought unfathomable.

“Rosie and Kathy I just love. I just adore them. You know what it is? They’re just frustrated with their cousin because they would love nothing more than to just say, ‘You know what? Forget all this bulls**t.’ Like they’ve forgiven her for stuff. They want her to forgive them and just move on and just be a family again and to put it all behind. But you know I think their feelings were hurt when Teresa reached out to me and Melissa and sent me a note and called me and tried to rekindle with me and Melissa but kind of left Kathy and Rosie out. So you know, a part of them is still hurt that and a little angry about it but at the same time, they’re hurt and angry because they care. And I know more than anything they would love to be a family…but both sides have to want it to make it work. I bet you guys never thought that Melissa and Teresa would reconnect again…never say never.”

As for whether her husband, Chris Laurita, who has always remained friendly with Joe Giudice no matter what was happening between the wives, has visited Joe since he began his prison sentence in March, the answer is no.

What may be the most surprising tidbit to come out of Jacqueline Laurita’s Periscope video? The fact that she named Teresa Giudice as her favorite housewife to watch.

“I know this is going to sound crazy but my favorite housewife to watch is Teresa. I think she’s just so funny and she makes for great TV.”
