Samantha ‘Sammi Sweetheart’ Giancola On Ronnie Ortiz-Magro And Possibly Dating Caroline Manzo’s Son Albie Manzo

Is Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola still with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro or are they finally done? On Sunday night, Sammi, who starred on MTV’s hit show Jersey Shore alongside Ronni for six seasons, from 2009 to 2012, appeared on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live. During her appearance, she gave an update on her relationships with her former co-stars.

During the after-show portion, a viewer asked whether Sammi still talks to Ronnie. Sammi said that she still keeps in contact with Ronnie but confirmed that they’re no longer romantically involved. Sammi declared that she’s single.

“I do but I am single right now so…”

The main guests that night on Watch What Happens Live were The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Siggy Flicker and Real Housewives alum and Manzo’d with Children star Caroline Manzo. Sammi, along with Clare Galterio, actually co-hosts the podcast radio show Just Sayin’ with Siggy. On Andy’s talk show, Sammi and Clare served as the night’s bartenders while Siggy and Caroline occupied the main seats.

When Sammi gave an update on her relationship status, Clare piped up that perhaps Sammi and Caroline’s son, Albie Manzo, should start dating. Sammi quickly said that she and Albie, as well as Chris Manzo, are good friends. Caroline nodded and agreed as Sammi said that she’s good friends with the Manzo boys.

“I actually know Albie. Yeah, and they’re amazing and we’re really great friends and so they’re awesome.”

Andy then asked Sammi if she still talks to Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. Sammi, with a laugh, said that he’s actually the only one from Jersey Shore she has no current contact with.

“I do not talk to The Situation. He’s the only one I don’t talk to. I talk to everybody else all the time so I’ve remained close friends with everybody.”

As for why she doesn’t speak to The Situation, it seems that she simply lost contact with him rather than because of a particular reason.

“I don’t know. I should probably hit him up and see how he’s doing. Yeah, I don’t know what he’s up to right now.”

Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro first dated on the first season of Jersey Shore. Throughout the six seasons, their relationship went through highs and lows, with the two of them breaking up then making up multiple times. Their on-and-off relationship continued after the show’s end.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Sammi and Ronnie confirmed in August 2014 that they were no longer together. Yet they remained friends. In October 2015, they both attended Jennifer “JWoww” Farley’s wedding to Roger Matthews and took photos together.

In April, E! News reported that Sammi and Ronnie rekindled their relationship and even went to Italy together. A source said that Sammi and Ronnie, who were in and around Florence, held hands while in a Florence nightclub.

“They held hands coming in and held hands when they left. They were sitting down in VIP just chilling with one another.”

Before the Italian vacation, Ronnie helped Sammi celebrate her 29th birthday in a New York City club. A source told E! News that Ronnie and Sammi just came back from Mexico and were taking it slow.

“They are seeing each other again, [but] taking it slower this time around. They were just in Mexico together as well. They have a lot of history.”

Now that it’s over with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, again, perhaps Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola’s fans will see her on TV once again and navigating the dating scene, not on MTV but on Bravo? As the Inquisitr previously reported, Siggy Flicker recently admitted that she would love to have Sammi with her on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and has even tried to convince her to do the show.
