Jaden Smith is not the only celebrity to be targeted with a death hoax. More than one million people searched Sylvester Stallone last week when a similar death hoax about the Rambo actor was spread on Facebook.
The actor has not directly responded to his death rumors. However, Jaden Smith proved he is not dead by posting a picture with his girlfriend, Sarah Synder.

The fake news story spreads on Facebook by asking users for access to their profile. The hoax is then shared on the user’s profile, and others also unknowingly share the false news.
Angelina Jolie was also targeted in a death hoax that went viral about two weeks ago.
Jaden Smith had a similar hoax last month when a fake story using the CNN logo stated that Will Smith’s son committed suicide.

Jaden Smith has also been subject to rumors regarding his sexuality. Due to his gender fluid fashion sense, some of the top Google searches for the young actor is about his sexuality.
Jaden has stated in interviews that he hopes his brave fashion sense will help stop bullying.
In an interview with Nylon magazine, Jaden talks about taking on the bullies for the next generation of kids who may choose to wear skirts.
“So, you know, in five years when a kid goes to school wearing a skirt, he won’t get beat up and kids won’t get mad at him,” the Karate Kid actor told the magazine. “I’m taking the brunt of it so that later on, my kids and the next generations of kids will all think that certain things are normal that weren’t expected before my time.”
The actor’s recent project is The Get Down, a Netflix original about the history of hip-hop. It is centered around kids growing up during the 70s in Bronx, New York. The big budget series has been met with mixed reviews.
Other than acting, Jaden is known for his eccentric style and bizarre interviews. The 18-year-old actor has followed in his father’s footsteps and juggles a career in acting and rapping.
The Jaden Smith death rumors have not gotten in the way of him promoting his latest series with appearances on Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America.
In a recent interview, Jaden talked about how he wants to change the world.
“It all comes from a concept of affecting the world in a positive way and leaving it better than it was than when we came. I feel like that enters into all types of different areas because there are so many different outlets that life has to offer for us. That goes into technology, into music. That goes into science, into spirituality, into education.”

“My parents are definitely my biggest role models. And that’s where me and Willow both pull all of our inspiration from to change the world,” he shared.

It is not clear whether the hoax is coming from several websites or one source. Facebook users should use caution when giving websites access to their profile.
