Robert Pattinson Calls Kristen Stewart ‘Best Actress Of Her Generation’
Even after parting ways, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson has always remained fan favorites. The duo, who met on the set of Twilight, had always praised each other and admired each other’s way of living.
As many of Stewart’s fan know, 2008’s Twilight was not her first silver screen appearance. Before starring as Bella Swan, she appeared in many films including Panic Room, Catch That Kid, Zathura, Into The Wilds, What Just Happened and others, and already had a major fan following before her appearance in the fantasy film.
On the other hand, Pattinson got a worldwide following for his portrayal of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Now when the duo finally met on the set of Twilight saga, their energy and off-screen chemistry impressed the critics and millions of their fan.
“Kristen’s the best actress of her generation, and that’s why I wanted to do this movie. I don’t know why she is, but she’s better than everyone else.”
During the filming of Twilight, Stewart and Pattinson were in a low-profile relationship. The couple never fully acknowledged their relationship in front of their fans and media. However, recent news suggests that Pattinson was actually involved with Nikki Reed before he got his eyes on Stewart.
According to a report published by Hollywood Life, Pattinson was romantically involved with Reed. His affair and breakup with her created a lot of tension on the Twilight movie sets, as the actress reportedly thought that Stewart took Pattinson away from her.
A source further claimed to the publication that after Pattinson left Reed, she found comfort with Paul McDonald, before finally settling with The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder.
“She learned how to get over it. Once she married Paul [McDonald], she completely forgot about the whole thing, and now she’s with Ian who’s considered her soul mate. Rob is just a blurb in her life story, so she isn’t really paying or giving much attention to Kristen’s diss.”
On the other hand, Pattinson and Stewart’s affair did not last for long as the latter got romantically involved with her Snow White and The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, while she was still in a serious relationship with her co-star.
In mid-July of 2012, Us Weekly released a number of intimate pictures of the actress with Sanders. Soon after the release of the scandalous pictures, the couple decided to part ways.
The actress, however, released a public apology, in which she revealed the pain she has caused to Pattinson and her fans.
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” she further noted in her statement.
However, earlier this year, the actress finally opened up about her scandalous relationship with Sanders. According to a recent article published in Vanguardia, the actress stated that it was completely fine from her end to have an inclination toward the director.
“I do not have a traditional job. I am not a clerk. It is normal to feel attracted by the people working and while you live under that bubble born some relationships.”
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have finally moved on in their lives and has made a good professional career, but Twilight fans are still hoping that these two will soon star in a film together.
