Is ‘RHONJ’ Teresa Giudice Starring On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 23?
Teresa Giudice has reportedly been confirmed as part of the season 23 cast of Dancing With the Stars.
As she continues her role on Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the once-incarcerated reality star is said to be joining the cast of the ABC dancing competition series.
“Teresa Giudice has officially signed on for this season of Dancing With the Stars,” Radar Online revealed to readers on August 30, adding that the big reveal will happen in the coming hours.

In October 2014, Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, received prison sentences after being charged with bank and wire fraud. At the time, Teresa Giudice was given a 15-month sentence but only ended up serving 11 months of her time. Meanwhile, Joe Giudice received a 41-month prison term which he began serving this past March.
Earlier this year, less than two months after Teresa Giudice was released from prison, a source claimed the reality star had turned down a chance to star on Dancing With the Stars Season 22.
According to a People Magazine source in March, Teresa Giudice was in talks to appear on the spring season of the series but “she didn’t do it because she didn’t want to be away from her girls.”
“[Teresa Giudice’s] focus is family,” the source explained.
“Her kids are in school and she would not have wanted to be away from them, even for a couple days a week. She sacrificed a nice paycheck to be home with her girls.”
Months later, Teresa Giudice was linked to the show again, but in early August, her attorney claimed the Real Housewives of New Jersey star had not yet signed on to appear on Dancing With the Stars Season 23.
“Dancing With The Stars approached [Teresa Giudice] about doing the season that aired in March but unfortunately with Teresa having just come home and with Joe Giudice going away in March, we had to decline the offer,” James Leonard Jr. told E! News in a statement last week.
“We have not had any discussions with Dancing With The Stars since that time and as such any story linking Teresa to the upcoming season are untrue. Teresa remains a fan of the show and if the timing is right and both sides are interested, I could absolutely see her doing the show at some time down the road.”

Teresa Giudice was released from prison last December after serving 11 months behind bars, and ever since, she has been filming with Bravo and spending quality time with her four daughters. She’s also been adjusting to life at home without her husband, Joe Giudice.
On the currently airing season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice and her on-again, off-again friend, Jacqueline Laurita, have been attempting to repair their broken friendship and on Sunday night, they appeared to do so. However, despite the latest episode’s featured moments, the two women are no longer on good terms.
As for Teresa Giudice’s once-strained relationship with her co-star and sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, they appear to be doing extremely well. In fact, after spending the holidays as a family, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga continued to showcase their friendship during Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and off-screen as well.
UPDATE: The Radar Online report appears to be incorrect as Giudice’s name was not announced on Good Morning America this morning.
