Selena Gomez Is In An ‘Emotional Rut’ After Justin Bieber’s Latest Romance And Sex Tape Rumors
Has Selena Gomez been deeply impacted by Justin Bieber’s recent romance with Sofia Richie?
According to a new report, a source close to the 24-year-old singer recently claimed that she has had trouble adjusting to the thought of her ex-boyfriend finally being over their relationship.
“Justin’s romance with Sofia is turning out to be the real deal and it seems that it came no less from Justin himself,” the Master Herald revealed to readers on August 29. “Apparently, [Selena Gomez] was told by Justin that Sofia is the first girl he has had strong feelings for since her. That really shattered the emotions of Selena Gomez and she has been struggling since then.”

The outlet went on to claim that Selena Gomez has often been hysterical and is constantly crying in the midst of the ongoing reports regarding her ex-boyfriend’s romance, which was recently targeted by rumors of a sex tape.
Since Selena Gomez’s romance with the “Cold Water” singer came to an end in late 2012, she has been linked to a number of other famous men, including Niall Horan, Orlando Bloom, Charlie Puth, DJ Zedd and Romeo Miller, but unfortunately, none of the relationships turned out to be much of anything. Instead, she’s seemingly engaged in several unsuccessful dating relationships as her ex-boyfriend continues to indulge in time with all sorts of women.
At the end of last year, Selena Gomez appeared to be ready to settle down when she stepped out with Samuel Krost, a close friend of model Gigi Hadid, for a romantic date in New York City. During the outing, Gomez seemed to be completely taken by Krost as they held hands and she sat on his lap. However, weeks went by before they were seen out again and after a date in Los Angeles in January, Selena Gomez confirmed she was single yet again.
According to a second report shared days ago, Selena Gomez has become so upset about her ex-boyfriend’s new relationship with the 18-year-old model that her friends have been left concerned for her well-being.

“After weeks of emotional drama, a public feud with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and a significant increase in her partying, Selena’s loved ones fear she’s trapped in yet another downward spiral,” a source told In Touch Weekly, according to a report by Gossip Cop. “Half of the time Selena says she is sick, she’s really just hungover and keeps partying anyway. She’s been showing a lot of signs that worry her friends who have seen this behavior before.”
“First [Selena Gomez] gets depressed, then has massive anxiety, then starts drinking and partying way too hard, then goes into denial and finally has a breakdown,” the source continued. “Everyone fears that if she doesn’t slow down, she’ll end up back in rehab… The scariest part is that she’s drinking and partying 10 times harder than ever before and her health is horrible.”
While the In Touch Weekly source claimed Selena Gomez’s drinking habits were destroying her health, the singer has looked quite healthy during her tour. In fact, it seems hard to believe that she would be able to tend to her demanding tour duties if she was drinking “10 times harder” than she has in the past.
In response to the report, Gossip Cop confirmed Selena Gomez was not headed “back to rehab” and pointed out that if she was truly unhealthy, the last thing her friends would want to do would be sell her out.
