Posted to Kaylub’s Facebook account on August 25, the video provides a shocking look (and potentially contains disturbing language) at what happened when a mother allowed a man to throw her 4-year-old son off a bridge, according to Fawley. The description accompanying the Facebook video describes that the little boy landed on his upper back.
The viral video has been viewed nearly 67,000 times on Facebook.
Indeed, the video’s audio displays a loud smacking sound that the boy’s body makes when he hits the water. There are also screams and what appears to be someone asking why they did that to the little boy.
“This is what happens when some parents just don’t care…this is a woman me and all my friends witnessed letting a ‘stranger’ throw her 4 1/2 year old son [off] the bridge yesterday into the water for fun!! He landed straight on his upper back so the police were called and I hope this isn’t just waived by and looked over #takethekid #wefreaked #cps? And shoutout to the homies that took a stand and called them out.”
As reported by KOMO News , the 4-year-old boy was thrown from bridge into the Wynoochee River , which is located in Montesano, Washington. The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s office stated that because the railroad bridge is private property, the man who tossed the boy off the bridge received a trespassing citation.
The boy’s mother and the man also received citations for reckless endangerment — however, the online viewing public is still enraged after viewing the video. The investigation continues into what happened at the Devonshire Bridge above the Wynochee River the day that the viral video was recorded.
As for Kaylub, in the comments section of the viral Facebook video, he describes what he yelled to the people who put the boy’s life in danger, as well as how they reacted.
“ We were saying that throwing a child off a bridge is f****** wrong then they got buck so we showed them how people can yell back. Yeah but he took the f*** off. His mom was in the water below yelling wahoooo so he didn’t freak but sad part is she is the freak.”
Kaylub went on to describe the types of Facebook messages he is receiving. Fawley wrote that some people are praising him for recording and uploading the video to Facebook. Others are criticizing him for putting the mom and man who threw the boy in the water “on blast,” but Fawley is receiving praise overall for his concern about the boy’s welfare.
According to Q13 Fox , the boy survived being thrown off a nearly three-story bridge, but it is not known if the boy suffered any injuries as a result of the fall. The police were called by those who saw the boy being thrown off the bridge.
Even though the citations the mom and the man received were misdemeanors, Child Protective Services has been made aware of the event — as Kaylub’s hashtags in the viral post and comments desired.
The video has been shared more than 1,000 times on Facebook, after folks in Kaylub’s Facebook comments section urged him to make the video public. The comments section of the video is rife with feuds — with one woman claiming that the uploading of a video was tantamount to harassment, while others disagree.
