Big Brother 18 has been a roller coaster ride for Paulie Calafiore this week. First, his showmance partner, Zakiyah Everette, was targeted in Thursday’s eviction, then he was put on the block next to his best friend, Corey Brooks, the day after. If you are looking for Big Brother fans to feel sorry for him, it’s probably not going to happen just yet. Many fans feel that his misery is almost fun to watch after he has ruled the house for weeks.
Even so, Paulie is taking it a step further when he revealed on the Big Brother live feeds that he did not plan on sticking around in the Jury House. He admitted in a conversation with Nicole Franzel that he has severe depression and a fear of enclosed spaces. He added that his shrink advised him not to participate in Big Brother , and noted the pressure from the show could cause him to “snap.” Paulie whispered to Nicole that he lied to Big Brother and told them that he has never been under the care of a mental health facility.

Online Big Brother reports that Corey has a bad feeling that he may be evicted on Thursday. Nicole tries to convince him that he’s staying, but he worries that Paulie will end up staying. Nicole explains that she doesn’t think that Paulie will last until the live show because she has a “feeling” Paulie will self-evict. Nicole says he admitted to feeling anxious and struggling with depression. Nicole says she isn’t sure what Big Brother would do if Paulie self-evicted before the live show. She wonders if they’d still do a live eviction. (Side note: If Paulie leaves, Corey would be safe per Big Brother official rules).
Big Brother spoilers tease that Corey feels awful about Paulie being in some much mental anguish. He says they have to win Head of Household next week and get Victor Arroyo out of the house. Corey thinks next week would be the perfect time since he cannot compete in the HOH competition being the outgoing Head of Household. Nicole agrees, but tells him not to tell anyone until after the live eviction because it could cause a vote flip in the Big Brother house.
Big Brother 18 spoilers tease that Paulie admits he had dark times in his life. He admits to struggling with money and having relationship issues with his ex-girlfriend in the past. He adds that his shrink told him if he came into the house, “it would be playing with fire.” He explained he did what he had to and lied to Big Brother about his mental stability to get on the show.
Vic didn’t fail ‘us’ this week, so if he doesn’t win next ACP, …we will have failed ‘him’. #VicForACP ? #BB18 pic.twitter.com/7S8SqoRPGk

Paulie has accepted his fate and seemed to know that he will walk out the door on Thursday. It is likely that he will come unhinged again on Monday after Victor, current HOH, chooses to keep the nominations the same. Many people do not expect Paulie to stay in the Big Brother house this week and predict he will self-evict. Right now, Big Brothe r has him sedated and have urged him to rest.
Big Brother 18 spoilers indicate that Nicole told Corey to watch Paulie because the house is “worried about his mental stability” right now. Paulie agrees to sleep in bed with Corey so he won’t be alone. All in all, Paulie had a terrible temper tantrum and received plenty of attention for his meltdown.
Paulie’s brother, Cody Calafiore, took to Twitter to say that Paulie will be back because he has the return ticket. We’ll have to wait until the live show on Thursday, August 18, to find out.
Paulie has the round trip no doubt #notworried #neverworried #keephating ?
