Do Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have a new song together?
This week on social media, DJ Snake previewed his new track “Let Me Love You,” which features Bieber, on Twitter, and days later, Gomez posted a clip of herself singing the song on Snapchat. Right away, fans began talking about their possible collaboration.
After receiving tons of tweets about Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber and their potential roles on his new song, DJ Snake began favoriting messages about the track. However, after adding to the speculation that Selena Gomez and her ex-boyfriend had worked together on the upcoming single, he un-favorited the posts, and now a source claims the Selena Gomez-Justin Bieber song never happened.
On August 1, Gossip Cop confirmed Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber did not team up with DJ Snake on “Let Me Love You.” Although Bieber will be heard on the track, which will be released on DJ Snake’s new album this Friday, their source confirmed Gomez was “not on the song.”

Selena Gomez began dating Justin Bieber in 2010, and in 2012 they parted ways. In the years since their split, the former couple has reunited numerous times, the latest of which took place just months ago when Selena Gomez showed her support for Bieber at his Purpose World Tour show in Los Angeles.
Prior to Selena Gomez’s attendance at Bieber’s concert, the two had hinted at a future reunion on Instagram after Bieber shared a throwback photo of the two of them in a pool, along with the caption “Feels.” After Bieber posted the picture, Selena Gomez liked the post and shared a comment, which read, “Perfect.”
Although many believed Selena Gomez’s presence at Bieber’s show was a clear sign that a reconciliation was coming soon, nothing ever came of the alleged romance and within weeks, reports surfaced regarding Bieber’s ongoing relationship with Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian.

Following a number of Bieber outings in which the pop star was seen with several different women, including Hailey Baldwin, Kourtney Kardashian, and Nicola Peltz, a source claimed Selena Gomez was upset that Bieber hadn’t fought harder to keep their romance alive.
“Justin is so passionate for his work, so passionate when it comes to not doing any photos with fans, so passionate when it comes to gloating he didn’t get hurt when he got in his latest fight. But he was never passionate in keeping Selena’s heart and she hates that she wasn’t important enough for him to make what they had work,” a source told Hollywood Life in June.
“She wishes he would have fought for her like he fights for everything else in his life, with passion. And the fact she thinks she never got that from him makes her always go back and want to help him and that is also why she will always be there for him.”
Prior to the report, Bieber was involved in a physical altercation with a 6’5? man who wanted his autograph in Cleveland following an NBA game. Although Selena Gomez never responded to the fight publicly, the source claimed she was upset by the confrontation.
“[Selena Gomez] hates seeing Justin get into fights,” the source explained. “She thinks that it is really stupid and does nothing positive for him at all. She hates seeing him getting into all these predicaments and would love for him to just take a break away from everything and everyone.”
