Khloe Kardashian Pregnant, Fears For Lamar Odom After Rehab Refusal?
Khloe Kardashian has been candid for years in her desire to have a baby like her Keeping Up With The Kardashians sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian. But now that she reportedly is pregnant, with Lamar Odom allegedly the baby daddy, the timing is turning into her “worst nightmare,” an insider told Life & Style.
The pregnancy news comes just after Lamar reportedly became so drunk that he had to be removed, vomiting, from a plane flight to New York City. He also has been seen visiting a variety of strip clubs, adding to Khloe’s fear that he has relapsed into dangerous old habits. So how could it be possible that Kardashian is pregnant with Odom’s baby?
However, with the knowledge that her 36-year-old estranged husband appears to be drinking and partying again to excess, Kardashian will not alter her views of Odom despite the pregnancy, according to the insider. The 32-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star reportedly continues to protect herself by keeping her distance from Lamar, added the source.
“She’s done with Lamar, for good. That’s why a pregnancy, which she should be overjoyed with, has become her absolute worst nightmare.”
In addition, adding to the concern about Odom, family insiders told Extra that an intervention attempt to get him to go to rehab failed. Despite the failure, the family remains “committed to getting him help.”
One of Lamar’s cousins, Alvina Alston, sought assistance from Darryl Strawberry. They set up a goal of getting Khloe’s estranged husband to board a plane that would take him to enter rehab at the Darryl Strawberry Recovery Center in St. Cloud, Florida.
Ron Dock is credited with having helped Darryl to recover. Based on his experience counseling Strawberry, Dock attended the intervention as well as the family members. Darryl participated by using Skype.
Concern from family and friends is growing since Odom’s removal from the Delta Air Lines flight earlier this month, where he was allegedly vomiting and drunk. Lamar almost died from an overdose in October, 2015, after which Kardashian rushed to his side and managed his medical care for him.
As for the pregnancy news, Khloe opened up about her heartbreak over not having a baby when she learned that her brother Rob Kardashian and his fiancée, Blac Chyna, are looking forward to welcoming a baby into the family, according to Us Weekly.
“I don’t know my emotions right now. I am empty… I am internally sad.”
In addition to that verbal indication from Kardashian that she is not pregnant, Gossip Cop reports that she is not having a baby with Lamar at this time (or with anyone else).
But the tension between Khloe and Odom over his return to his old habits remains. When Kardashian learned that Lamar had been booted from the plane, drunk and vomiting, she turned to Twitter to express her sorrow, noted ET.
The relationship has changed dramatically since the days when she stayed by his side in the hospital as he recovered from that almost fatal drug overdose. Now, since Odom has begun drinking again, the two no longer stay in touch consistently, a source told ET.
“Khloe is very concerned but doesn’t know what else she can do at this point.”
Kardashian made every effort to help Lamar “get a second chance at life,” pointed out the insider. She even called off their divorce to take on the role of managing his medical care.
In late May, however, Khloe filed again for divorce from Odom after reportedly experiencing shock and dismay at the news that he had been seen in a bar drinking alcohol.
“Khloe is shocked that he was caught drinking again,” revealed the source.
Another insider revealed to ET that Lamar had specifically been warned by his medical team against drinking “any alcohol.”
