Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Take ‘Positive Step’ And Silence Divorce Rumors?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly called off their plans for divorce.
Although the high profile couple never actually confirmed the rumors of their allegedly impending split, a new report claims they’ve taken a “positive step” towards mending their marriage.
On July 24, the International Business Times shared a report from In Touch Weekly, in which a source claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had saved their marriage by spending quality time with their 6 children, Maddox, 14; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
According to the report, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were on the “brink of divorce” just weeks ago, but after enjoying time with their kids in Los Angeles throughout the month of July, they are said to be on much better terms. While remaining marital problems were noted, the source confirmed the couple was “back in love.”

After landing in Los Angeles several weeks ago, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted with their children numerous times, and during one outing, they were seen enjoying a pancake breakfast with their twins on their eighth birthday. They were also seen grocery shopping for what appeared to be a Fourth of July celebration earlier in the month.
In Touch Weekly‘s report came just months after a Hollywood Life source claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were planning to fix their marriage for the sake of their kids.
“The past few months have been tough on [Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie] because they’ve both been very wrapped up in their own projects. They went from doing By The Sea together and having all this time as a family to spending the majority of their time apart. That is hard on them. Whenever they have to spend too much time apart, it causes tension in the relationship,” a source told the outlet in January.
Although Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were said to be experiencing tension earlier this year, the source explained that they were both dedicated to their family and prepared to do whatever it took to be a family.
“[Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie] both want to make sure the kids get enough time with at least one of them around so they argue about that,” the source added. “They both know they need to come back together and have more time as a family unit. They’re looking forward to moving to London together this Spring.”

In the spring, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie moved to London with their children while Pitt was filming the World War II film Allied with Marion Cotillard and Lizzy Caplan. Unfortunately, however, their move wasn’t without incident and following their arrival, Pitt was accused of inappropriate behavior with both of his female co-stars.
In addition to a report by Radar Online claiming Pitt had been caught kissing Caplan, who plays his sister in the film, an In Touch Weekly report claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship was suffering due to Jolie’s extreme jealousy over Pitt’s on-set relationship with Cotillard.
“The resentment has been eating away at [Angelina Jolie],” an insider revealed to In Touch Weekly, via Hollywood Life. “She’s prone to think that since she was once Brad’s co-star and seduced him away from his wife, the same will happen to her.”
“She’s exactly the kind of sultry European actress that [Angelina Jolie] has always wanted to be, and she’s playing exactly the kind of role Angie’s always wanted to play,” the magazine’s source added.
