Rihanna Torn Between Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift In Feud Over ‘This Is What You Came For’ Scandal
Rihanna isn’t choosing sides in the ongoing feud between Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris following the controversy surrounding the singer’s hit song, “This Is What You Came For.”
Earlier this week, Calvin slammed Taylor on social media for trying to make it seem as if the music producer had little to no part in the writing process, as Swift’s team released a statement confirming that their client was actually the one who penned the track, not Harris.
The statement left Harris fuming; not only because the 32-year-old did help co-write the song but also for the fact that he produced and mixed the finalized version. Calvin was under the impression that Taylor and her team were trying to sabotage him and his career by making it seem as if he had stolen the song for the sake of a potential number one record.

Despite the drama that has erupted between the former couple, Hollywood Life alleges that Rihanna is staying out of it. Sources stress that the “Work” singer wants nothing to do with their feud, especially since both of them happen to be people she works with quite frequently in Hollywood.
“No no no. If this is what you came for, for RiRi to chose between Taylor and Calvin, it’s not happening,” the source revealed. “Rihanna’s staying out of whatever is going on between them and hopes that they’ll find common ground to walk on and be friends again.”
Rihanna has never had any personal problems with Taylor in the past and therefore sees no reason to be in involved in the drama that has absolutely nothing to do with her in the first place.
Her best pal, Katy Perry, however, seems delighted that Calvin Harris has publicly exposed Taylor on how his ex-girlfriend tried to sabotage the career of a fellow pop star, in a tweet that read, “I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”

For the last two years, Katy has made subliminal comments aimed at Swift, telling fans to “watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” as reports claimed that Taylor was attempting to turn her Hollywood friends against the “Roar” hitmaker.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, back in 2014, The Guardian quotes Swift saying the following:
“For years, I was never sure if [this singer and I] were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'”
“It wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me … I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.'”

Despite all the drama that Rihanna has found herself in over the song, “This Is What You Came For” went straight back to number one following Harris’ Twitter attack against Swift, claiming he played a great part in making the song a Hot 100 hit.
Recent reports believe that, while Rihanna is staying out of the drama, Katy Perry may be readying up her own diss track against Swift now that the singer has officially confirmed her return to the music scene this summer.
