Leah Messer Reveals Why She Films ‘Teen Mom’ Despite Threatening To Leave MTV
Teen Mom star Leah Messer has been keeping a low profile since the recent season ended, and she has been focusing on her children. Leah recently purchased a brand new home for herself and her three daughters; a place where they can start creating new memories. But Messer’s role on the show was up in the air for a while as she didn’t feel that MTV portrayed her in the right way. Fans of the show were very vocal about her parenting, including how she didn’t give her daughters breakfast before taking them to school and how she was always running late.
According to a new Instagram post, Teen Mom star Leah Messer is now revealing why she’s staying on the show. Despite threatening to leave the show once before, Leah is now revealing that her fans’ stories encourage her to continue.
“For ANYONE & EVERYONE that has EVER ask why I do the show? This is why and it’s more than enough for me! Just simply to know that ONE person wont live with what once was a struggle for me. They have chose to live up to their own standards, and trust in God! We were made to LIVE and we are choosing to live in true happiness and fulfillment. I’m so proud of you girl!!!!” Leah Messer revealed on Instagram, sharing a story from a fan who met her.
In the Instagram post, she had shared a screenshot of a fan’s story of how she felt when she met Leah Messer. Apparently, Leah’s personal struggles with anxiety and stress had really influenced many viewers. Leah’s struggles were mixed with stories of suicidal feelings, drug use, and neglecting her children. Of course, the stories about Messer were not always true, and Leah was frustrated with the false stories. But it sounds like her fans were able to separate truth from fiction, and she has truly inspired many people. And the story Leah shared hit home for her.
“So I met an inspiration in my life today. Leah from Teen Mom 2. I just wanted to say a huge thanks to you. You have shown me that no matter what struggles a person goes through, they can always come back even stronger. Whether they’re deep in depression, struggling with family, etc. They can make it. So thank you for showing me that & for being so nice & sweet!” Leah Messer’s fan had written in her Instagram post that Leah ended up sharing with her own fans.
While Leah did have some critical fans who were questioning what else she had to offer other than being a reality star, many people felt she was brave for sharing her story with depression on MTV.
“You are incredible… A beautiful and amazing person… and fantastic mother! Always be proud of yourself! I have watched you from the beginning and u are incredible!” one person wrote to Leah Messer, which was the general message from the majority of her followers.
Leah isn’t the only person who has expressed a desire to leave the show. Kailyn Lowry has revealed that she’s preparing for a life without the show to support her. Jenelle Evans has expressed a dislike for the show’s producers because she feels that they are trying to make her look bad. And Chelsea Houska has revealed that she’s done with Teen Mom, and she doesn’t want to keep filming the show much longer. According to Radar Online, it sounds Messer is tired of the public judgments.
